An Open Letter to Newbies... - What, I have to say more?

Allright, to all you newbies out there, this is a little list of things I have seen most of you do quite frequently that are not to our liking. So to avoid getting on Selvin's bad side, I suggest you read up a little on our wonderful little community.

First off, I 'll be talking about the different sections of this forum. "General Discussions" is the place where you can post... ummm... general things. This means you can post pretty much what you'd like, even things not relating to this game. "Bugs and Problems Report" is where you would post any glitches, bugs and whatever else you may find wrong/disturbing in the game. Odd projectiles coming out of Ryu's behind? This is the place to post it. I'm not particularly sure about the "New Features" section, sometimes TMyApp, our master, will post new goodies about the game in here (And then get a sound thrashing from Selvin), but you may post some ideas for the game. Who knows? Maybe TMy will take your idea and make it reality (Although you must deny ever having thought of it). Then there's the "Challenges and Tournaments" section. This is where you can watch feuds grow between fellow players, and see how they turn out. You can also find information on any upcoming tournies out there, and info on ones currently running.

Secondly, you must know proper etiquette around your better. Most of us are quite temperamental and will explode at the slightest sound of disrespect (And from a newbie, no less). First off, NO SPAMMING. I mean, no irritating/non-sense crap, If you're going to say something, it better be at least intelligent. Also, take some time to check your spelling, don't expect us to read your mind (We're wonderful, we know, but we're not perfect). And lay off the Caps. If you want an example of what not to do, find RagingDemon3K's thread, that should pretty much cover it.

And lastly, learn how to spell "TARKAN." I'm quite amazed at the number of people who managed to mispell this, and yet spell my name perfectly. You start with a "T" and then you go to an "A" and then an "R" to a "K" another "A" and finally, an "N" TARKAN... Got it? Oh, I forgot, there's an "X" at the end.

So, how do we spell Tarkan? Come on, I know you can do it. Just try REALLY hard. Come on...

Ah bitching, something newbies are quite prone to doing. I am aware that some of you newbies may want to report some bugs and any annoying glitches/problems with the game, you are encouraged to do so. Don't be surprised, though, if we answer many of your questions with "It's lag," and by no means get mad, you have no reason to. Bitching is basically a bug report, but lacking any signs of a polite request to fix it. Bitching is not taken well in this forum, most often we will make fun of you, and then BAN you, you will then be forced to send an apology and a reason to why you should be let back (The RagingDemon3K incident springs back to mind). Basically, bitching is plain rude behaviour from people overly frustrated with a game, a GAME for goodness' sake. So next time you feel like writing anything that resembles bitching, breath, count to ten, and take a look at RagingDemon3K's thread.

And remember, "Good things don't end with '-eum,' they end with '-mania' or '-teria.'" The wisdom of Homer Simpson, my friends.

Two things are un true about the post. First of all, RagingDemon3K was never made fun of before he was banned. He made fun of Warmor and was banned. He never bitched he just made a request in the rudest manner.
