Well, I know I'm going to a University, but I'm not sure if I should use a college helper to help me along. It is called College Parnership...it's website is http://www.collegepartnership.com/. It has a fee of $1495. Which is kind of a lot. In my family

It offers:
-CoMIT Program which helps choose the right career, Which I already know
-Study Strategies, which I need
-Test-Prep for SAT and ACT which I also need
-College Action Plan which tells you what you should do and when you should do it.
-Financial Analysis which teaches us about financial aid process and shows us how to realize our financial aid potential
-College Report which tells us admission requirements, description of the college, AP and CLEP score requirements and Financial aid availability compares out of pocket costs not just full retail cost
-Merit Aid- shows 100,000 merit awards at over 110 colleges and provides up to date merit aid info and identifies the best awards at my selected colleges
-Student Profile-It sends info when colleges need it
-Coach Team- People I can call any time I need help or assistance and ensures my family is ok throughout the process. Ex: I can send them my essay and college application to review.

It also sends me a list of the top 25 colleges according to my needs. And helps lower my EFC for those of you who know who it is.

Now, I don't know all of you who go to college or went to college but I need to know should I accept it and pay or should I just do it on my own. I also would like to know all of you who went to college and is still ok now and will be pretty much until you finish college.

I live in a Single parent home with my mother who doesn't know a lot about the process and usually busy I also get excellent report card grades. Please write down your thoughts. Thank You.

I'm majoring in Chemical Engineering at UCONN...which has a great engineering program. They also offer a lot of helping hands (financially or otherwise) to whoever is ready and willing to become an engineer at their school. Usually money is the biggest issue when it comes to college. The School of Engineering at UCONN offers plenty of scholarships a year and they even complain that not enough engineers are taking advantage of these opportunities. As for the SAT stuff...if you need help with that there's books and study guides that you can buy. Or you can go to a library and they should have some also. Trust me there's no need to stress over SAT's. You seem smart so the SAT's shouldn't be a problem. Plus your a female, correct, so they'll definitely want you to go to their school. They have a diversity program at the SOE that encourages the involvment of more females and minorities in engineering.

Good Luck

that really seems like a good program Elena but it really seems like ur just havin some get into college jitters and theres nothin wrong about that but as long as u do what u need to do in high school and of course take the SAT(which in my opinion it doesnt matter how many people help u or prepratory classes u take u know what u know and ur goin to get what ur goin to get whether u took some kind of SAT prep or not and that making a big deal about it hurts peoples score more than help it got a little off topic) but anyway u shouldnt have much to worry about and that the program is probably not worth it im not saying its useless but the money and results just dont seem to be in agreement in my eyes (and haduken what about MIT prob the best u can go to)
