Is there a way to set up a router or firewall or anything else that can prevent u from hosting so it can allow u to host

sorry, but the sad truth is that those ofus with routers cannot host.

there might be a way, ive tried it, but it doesnt work for me. you can toy around and try to open ports 1626 with your router gateway.

port forwarding doesn't work

trust me i have tested many routers...

routers have built in firewalls, and with this game you cannot host with a firewall enabled.
