I am going to tell you a story about what just happened to me three times in the same match.

Me: -Raging Shindruken.-
His life: No effect.
Me: -Raging Shindruken.-
His life: No effect.
Me: -Raging Shindruken.-
His life: No effect.

These attacks were not interrupted by a hadoken, helper, or anything else. They went through, I landed gracefully and sick-looking, but the attack had no effect. I also have this problem with E. Ryu's Raging Demon.

ok its called lagg dude...u think your hitting him but your really not...what happens is your computer is to slow to keep up so it causes u to think your hitting him when in reallity your not...there is nothing anyone can do about....u must deal with it...dont complain about it or mods get mad...the same thing happens to me with that move though.....use others move that seem more effect i guess...

Oh, so it's just lag then? Hmm. Well, I'll probably get slapped because this is non-SFO related, but the game would be alot less laggier if I knew the answer to this question: My ram was suddenly cut in half, and boht memory chips I installed are still there, so what the hell is going on? Neither of the chips look fried.

im with master jay....i cant seem to land any of the blackout attacks either. :(
..and i been playing a long time... and I've tried every "i know this works" combo, and stategy vs lag.

Situations where i "know" im behind my opponent. i/e: My opponent is using the "wall facing, super jump, spam hadoken, power-up" technique..*cough* Resident Evil *cough*
While at that time I am no where near them..I throw a "cover my advance" hadoken...I tap the blackout keys...things go black... the lights come one..and no damage is dealt.

Or those cowardly flying spiders, playing the "Ha ha You cant catch me way up here" technique done with the spider kick.
(Mostly use when they are about to die and know it.)
I/E: I wait till they superjump..I cover myself with a hadoken..i immeadity tap the blackout keys...things go black, the lights come on, and no damage is dealt.

This is not to say that I have not succesfully landed a blackout combo.
But the chances of succesfully landing the move seems to have become increasingly less chancefull.

I agree with u Nosoul....especially some of the spidey users i've noticed lately.......

me i always land blackout moves most of time unless i get stop by a fireball or somebody helpers

I don't have problems with blackout moves. I just use the default u,u,->jo and akuma/evil Ken/Evil RYu just do it.....
