Man....it isnt all that hard.

Get yourself some mp3's..if LimeWire sucks, just download them right off the internet.
Get a CD-R
Get Cd burning software (you should try if Nero Burning Rom is available on iMac)
And select the "Music CD" option, your proggie will automatically convert your files. Wait 15 minutes. and your ready to go.

[quote:post_uid0="Nantuko Joe"][quote:post_uid0="SSJKarma"]use iTUNES to download MP3s... (we had an iMAC at school and we used to download MP3s with it without a problem)
Use iTunes to DOWNLOAD MUSIC? How the hell do you do that?
well, i cannot really tell you, it was 3 years ago !
maybe it wasn't itunes. we used it to listen to the music tho, but i cannot be sure it was it.
still it was made for, no ?

anyway...
yes i have been knowing NERO BURNING ROM 5 from day one of its coming out.
but the easiest way of doing MUSIC CDs is Easy CD 5 !
just tell me why NERO is better while all of the software use the very same techs to do the MUSIC CDs ?
if you see a difference between both then just tell me !

anyway.. nantuko, ALL software comming with your BURNER has that option, just select MUSIC CDs and choose your MP3s they'll convert them all before burning them on the cd !
it cannot be easier then that !

Easy CD Creator can't burn more than the specified amount on CDS and causes overburning. Nero has more advanced options for retries and readerrors.

And here are the opinions and views of a few who have used Easy CD Creator:

hmm...

-one of my questions was "where can I download .mp3s from the internet without a file-sharing program like Kazaa". Everybody said there were no sites to download mp3s. If you could get me a good site with lots of mp3s...

-my computer came with a CD-R
-iTunes can burn CDs already

I'm all set...except for a place to download mp3s.

SSJKarma 01-06-2003 09:38 PM

Downloading mp3s of songs you don't have is NOT illegal. Burning CDs is NOT illegal. I looked into this: iMacs come with CD-burning software. Also, mp3 downloading software is available EVERYWHERE on the net, most specifically at Download.com. If downloading and burning mp3s is illegal, then all the feds have to do is type www.download.com into their browser and BOOM, they can arrest a bunch of ppl. They could also arrest and shut down Apple computers because they include CD-burning software in their computers as standard software. It's NOT illegal.
