I wouldn't consider Peter Griffen really "stupid", but he is funny as hell. I say Homer Simpson is pretty much stupid.

Ok look at it this way homer has a cryonm in his brain,Pete has no braincells because his wife got him drunk till he only had one left. Simpsons have ben around longer though they ahve like five times as many episodes as Family guy they went stale.

lol........ did anyone see the family guy episode when Peter and his family were invited to eat dinner and when they got there, they realized the family were nudists........

Peter was holding his hot-dog then the wiener fell on the floor, he goes under the table and then he's like AAAAHHHHH!!!!! I'm sorry, I thought it was the wiener, ah I've touched it lol

technically peter is stupider.if youseen all of the simpsons episodes there was one when they learned that homer had a crayon up in his brain. and when they took it out he bacame smart. so unless peter has sumthing up in his brain too my vote stays with peter.......I rest my case.
