i have that game. i cant remember my team, but ryu does suck on that game.

and i agree with tark. geese is the top tier in the game, and also has sum of the strongest supers.

man i have had it with yall. can yall gimme some reasons on why u think that ryu sucks in the game. u cant just say that ryu is gay, nuff said. at least gimme your opinion ???

ryu does not suck. once u really get to know the ryu in the game then u will see that he doesnt suck. i used to have the same impression of the game. then i went to practice and started doing combos with him. he can do a super from any of his punches and kicks. he has decent speed and he is mad durable. but most people over look ryus power. if used properly he can destroy an opponent in a matter of seconds.

Gahh... Alright... why does Ryu suck? I will tell, infact, I'll tell why the shotos suck.

Ryu:

No major priority on his normals that he can dish out, blatant combos(You'll only be seeing 3 hit combos from him at most without supers). Too predictable(CvS2 is a game of predictability, but damn... Ryu is way too obvious). Bad fireball(Pitiful damage, and too much lag in excecuction, and after excecution). Shoryuken has VERY low priority(Like Dan in SFA3), Dont even bother with his spin kick.

Horrible jump ins/cross overs, no 1 on 1 game, bad supers(Shinkuu Hadouken is like getting hit by an old woman 5 times, Don't think of using his Super Spin kick, Shin Sho is not great, it's a level 3, the damage is actually worse(R4 Ryu doesn't even kill an R2 Dhalsim with Shin Sho), and good luck trying to find ways to connect it.

Recommended Ratio: R1, or R2(I would rather use him as R1)

Recommended groove: C, P, N, K

Evil Ryu:

He's fast, and is strong, but thats about it. He takes damage like your grandma a while after steroids(Yeah, and that is very very bad). He gets killed by a Geese Raging Storm, Any of Sagat and Blankas supers, and Giefs. Most of the cast, even at the same ratio. Teleport is weak "woot, I'm going to teleport, *gets hit at slow ass start up*, woops I'm dead".

Bad supers, ever tried his Denjin Hadouken(electric hadouken)? Words of advice, don't use it, unless your drunk. Raging Demon is laughable, everything about him is bad, he has no combos, nothing

Recommended Groove: C, P, N


Akuma:

*moans* Let's just say, he takes damage WAY too much, he's about as bad as Evil Ryu, yes he is a better Evil Ryu, but even then, that's not good. He has an air fireball, WOW!!! But let's see how many times you'll be able to connect it in a fight before you die.... about 3-5? Thought so.

Shin Akuma:

Yeah, what you're thinking is that he's unbeatable... R4 geese Raging Storms R4 Shin Akuma *dead*, Sagat super *dead* Rugal Super *dead* Ryu Shin Sho *dead*. Shin Akuma's game is anything but Up close, he's a keep away guy, trying to get you in the corner, and chip you to death, or run away with teleportation(Make sure you dont get hit with super while teleporting). Sure, he's got a cool new super, but it can be hit out of by almost anything, and the user will suffer no damage, It has horrible chip, and so much lag at the end, and even a lot of lag at start up, that you can just dash through it. I don't know why he's banned at tourneys, he isn't much of a threat.

i dont know why yall dissin ryu but i guess yall suck with him. i whoop ass with him. i know how to use all of his moves to the fullest. but u know what, i dont care what yall say about ryu cause i know that he is good. (well at least im good with him) ive even won tournaments with ryu in cvs2.

lol scruby tournaments. i have even beaten some good asains in this game. and everyone knows that asians kick ass in any type of street fighter game.

and tj5 i like to use yamazaki. i like to use him to piss off my opponents. cause i can do the taunt and counter real fast.

Well rock is Geese son so of course he should have some of geese moves. And all that about Akuma and Shin Akuma bull $hit R4 Shin Akuma well destroy geese. Raging demon 33 hit will Kill geese. Akuma is the greatest killing machine in Streetfighter he should be banned some people he comes across he will kill. And his new super that when he comes down ontop of the enemy with a chop does MAJOR damage. Even the mans air fireball and super does alot of damage. And doing his teleport will confuse Geese. HA! Raging storms dont make me laugh.
