This is my way of helping the newer players with the pests of the game:
During my playing time, though not that long I have noticed there is 3 types of Ryu fighters, the close combat, the varied, and the horrid fireball #####es as I like to call them. These are the people that go into a 1on1 battle and stack the odds to their fighting style and just sit and throw super fireballs and fireballs like a madman. Now some are relatively good at doing this and almost trapping you because they will go across the screen with a super jump fire until they can shoot a superfireball and then repeat it... Now this leaves people, especially noobs puzzled... partially because of lag, partially because they just can't hit them. Well here is my way...
Off the start of the match Super Jump and get behind the fireball ##### and do several strong kicks, and even maybe a hurricane kick. You should probably have about 10 seconds of kicking due to the lag that is provided by the constant fireballs. Once the opponent turns around you should be right infront of him, throw a sweep, jump over him and back up. Now this is when you start throwing your fireballs, throw a few, by now you should have at least level 1, your opponent should now have probably got level 1 and will try to corner you with fireballs and throw the deadly super fireball, wait, as soon as you think he is about to throw it super jump, not all cases will he throw it but it is still safe to jump now. If he did throw the super fireball you are now behind him and he has left himself vunerable for you to throw one of your own. There you go he should be at least half way dead by now, and if you keep repeating this process he will die eventually. If you are having no luck with the fireballs that I added in, simply stay on him with kicks, most fireball throwers cant do any close combat, so if you kick him you should win. If you must stick on him, get him into the corner with sweeps and jump kicks and throw a hurricane kick to a dragonpunch, he will die in no time, and you will win the match.
