Yea...you can use Folk tale Blues for the title page and other two for different sections of the website.

Guile's theme is a very nice tune that has been smoothly placed together in a sort of martial melody. The beats and the mild little sounds that can be heard in the background of the theme also add quite a bit to the complex beauty of it all.

However, Blanka's theme is very wild, and somewhat crisp. Even after it ends, the tune will (usually) stick in your head infectiously, which is always good with music. Also, the Amazonian Jungles style of the music does allow free movement of any type during the entire song; which is to say, you could dance in any way possible to the beat without dancing too awkardly. Therefore, I'd have to say Blanka's theme is better.

...And Saijin, Blanka did study music, and he is an excellent Musician himself. I believe he would know his tones and beats just as well, if not better, than anyone who has written music as a profession.

^^^ Exactly!

The "coolness" ... so to say, of Guile's theme stems from the fact that he's a bad ass character. A bit of research and I found out that the name of the theme was actually "Violente Emotional"... that's it.. it's all about Guile. At the beginning you hear this drum rythm that follows it through.. sorta like a marching beat that's masked in between it's nice melody. If you look at it critically, there's nothing more than that to Guile's theme.

However, Blanka's theme, you can hear at least 4 different melodies driving through and masking the wonderful beat it holds. It's also got a tenary sort of style... where you go from one sort of musical style, and then return to the first portion.. sorta like ABA without restarting the whole theme and that's a very unique property of any piece.

Im not stating that he did not study music, Ive seen other topics from him and he could very well have! Its just that "studying music" can still only vary your taste, and not the taste of others! You see not everyone likes many rthyms at the same time for this over crowds a piece, im sorting listening to blanka's tune and i think its a tune that could also be made to catch your attention, instead of making you want to feel the music, much like an Ice Cream Van! Ive also noticed on blanka's theme there's an ongoing beat just behind the main, this keeps the fast motion of the beat and it sometimes rely's on this.

Guile's tune may have a slower tempo, and it may not be as wild as blanka's but when you listen to it, you cant help but to feel the music...i see this as somewhat charismatic, and when you step back and realise what this is used for its...fighting! For this is where the charisma of the melody that follows the suttle beats makes you feel uplifted and that helps when fighting. Ive also noticed that with Guile's theme i cant help but tapping my feet to it and even my head!

So in conclusion what are the actually aims on the pieces well im strongly still thinking that they stole blanka's theme from a brazilian Mr. Whippy van..
And Guiles, well thats the kinda music to raise your hopes to and even a kind of music that will effect how into the fight you are! Charismatic and Uplifting.

Iplay2Win: You're kidden right?? ... How can you NOT know Guile. Anyway, here he is

Courtesy of Maximumspider.com

Evilakuma: I've never used this before... but for shame! lain: ...

Saijin ryu: yesh.. I know what I mean... studying music doesn't just vary ur taste, it helps you analyze a piece of music from a universal point of view. Some may beg to differ... but what the heck?

Quote:

Oh no my friend.. now you're falling back on ur own words.. If you talk about taste, the melody in this music as a matter of fact catches you... and although the beats make you move, it's the melody that sticks within you as Roll rightly put.

Quote:

But remember Saijin, all forms of music rely on a strict timing and sometimes rigid tempo to follow. If they don't have one, then the music becomes scattered.. so to say. If you listen to Guile's theme.. especially the one we've got at Maximumspider.com, you'll notice that, the contrast between the beat and the melody in the early seconds of the song, makes it really nice... but then it fades of and then the constant beat keeps the melody in check. It's like that for all forms of music... except those singing in acapella... even blanka's theme is like that.

Those are the words of a fan my friend.. and not a critique... heh. See, Violente Emotional may be charismatic... but what makes it so moving is the character himself. The character defines the music in Guile's case... but peculiarly, Blanka's theme does in fact define Blanka's ways.
