I remember beating up a black belt.. sorry to say only black belts who can brake more than 100 boards could beat me in a fight.

And this is because why, exactly? The number of boards you can break, after a while, ceases to determine your skill level and only proves how strong you are. True, it takes technique to break boards, but once you have that down, only strength matters. You could be fifty times stronger then someone, and yet if they are at a much higher skill level, you'll most likely lose. By the way, does your comment mean that you can break one hundred boards?

[quoteost_uid0="Abdoun_bacK"]LOL thats really weird..green taht fast..iam not a big fan of karate..i like kick boxing or judo..some thing you can actaully use for self defense...its pretty hard to use Tae kwon do..cuz ive taken it...its REALLY FUN...but meh...not soo fun for real world defense if ya know what i mean..i really enjoy kick boxing though..full contact...it can be brutal sometimes but i love it
i do tae kwon do and it ain't that hard. sure my ankles hurt every time class ends but its a.o.k. I know what you mean when you say "real world defense" cause like whos gonna kick someone in the head while the guy has a knife unless you're kicking down there if ya know what i mean :laugh: . I remember that i was looking through the SFO forum and i saw a sig that show three guys satcked on each other like this |
|
|
and each one has a board and one guy was in frint of the guys and then did a tornaedo roundhouse kicking the first low one with the leg you use to spin then kicked the middle board with the leg you actually use to kick then with the highest one he used a spinning heel and all that was on one jump i was like :bored: wow! Do any of you know whos sig was it i forgot. Its was video taped not animated if you were wondering.

[quoteost_uid0="Shingko"]exactly
Well karate helps you when you are in bad situations.Say you are in a alley and some one tryes to stab you you could use your rising block to stop it.I know some one is going to say this sapose this never happens sapose it does you never know.Life is a big mistery to some people and you will not always have a gun on you.I think people who uses guns are cowards to me.If you are in a spot where some one has a gun and tryes to shoote you i could understand you having a gun and killing that person.but having a gun to kill a person for money is realyt stupid.

Umm I used to train in the style Kenpo at my school. I only got to like purple belt and the karate got out of the school's after school activities because of the lack of people.
