there is only one thing that can calm down the people about the vet tourney !

THERE IS NO PRECISE DEFINITION OF A VET

2000warrior = he goes with the... forum/attitude/playability definition

kidkrazysh|t = goes with the playability of the game and players

wrestlemania = who cares about his definition !

SSJKarma = has no real definition !

see ? we all have our own definition and the other think the other his wrong so he FLAME !
but there is one thing you can't deny... there is one and only one definition that you can really rely on...

VETERAN:
for roman:"soldiers, who after un certain number of campaign, obtained there vacation and rewards due to their services. soldier of cesar"

in france: "soldier or marine who, in consideration of there years of service, had been admit into campaign or mission easier to do"

general definition: "soldiers who had been under the flag for a long time, and had been put on vacation"

this has been taken from my dictionnary and i can't really translate it to english pretty well, but at the exception of the GENERAL definition... i think we can all agree that a veteran is someone who actually made something for the community !

and i must say that i never really considered myself a vet ! but it seems people had know me has one ! it's something you can't get by yourself. it's something other people decide for you ! the definition from the dictionnary that had been put in my quotes are the only definition i always used.

you all say that the vet tourney was bad from the start cause people who was |\|oob were accpeted in it, have you even tryed to see what people YOU would have ACCEPTED ? i know that i wouldn't have been accepted cause most of you think i'm so bad in the game ! but i have been UNDER THE FLAG and trying to help more then most of you !

conclusion: this is not meant to flame people but the to enlighten them on what they seemed to had missed by posting in about the vet tourney !

Random comment: I'm a vet! I go under the definition of an amount of time being a part of the community while being useful and non-stupid. I joined in November, so only two more months until I've been on for a year!

... don't look at that date under my user name. I joined under a second user name (as anybody around back then would know) in November.

That being the ONLY truth posted in here about sums up why everyone has been/will continue to bitch about it... I knew they would from the start, but I still insisted on being a part of hosting the dam thing, and made registration done email-only to lessen the bitching. Just imagine what kinda hell would of broken loss if registration had been on the forum... :biggrin:

Ah well, I think this debate thingy is pretty much over since it's just become a "who/what qualifies someone to be vet" (which is btw, their entire basis for arguement).

no offence but vet2002* tourney just messed up....

the best tourney of all time =TOC1 & TOC3....(we had vets there only)
lets just forget about this vet tourney and let this topic die....
