ok I was gonna do a news letter and then I was just like "screw it", so instead Im just gonna write a commentary of all the things that happened in the month.


One of the biggest happenings this month is the new character vote, so I will give you all my point of view of the pros and cons of each character that you can choose...Ill try not to be too biased.

aahem:

cammy: a very good character with unoriginal moves....plus shes got a thong :cheesy:

dont get me wrong, cammy is a really good character.....its just that her moves are kinda boring

cannon drill- much like wolvie's drill claw, only flashier

cannon spike- much like chunli's rising kick, only flashier

cannon strike- much like akumas falling air kick, only....well you get the point

spin drive smasher- just a combo of cannon drill and cannon spike

killerbee assault- probably her best move, much like spidy's maximum spider

nash: sweet haircut, sweet combos, pilot

probably the most popular in this vote, I dunno why.....
I mean charlie is a good character, its just that without his combos........theres really not that much to see.

oh yeah, and you have to charge alot of his moves -_-

sonic boom- projectile, you have to charge it......looks just like guiles

flash kick/somersault kick- good move, charlie does a back flip and shoots out two waves of energy I guess.

moonsault slash- airel flash kick......alot smaller though, kinda useful

crossfire blitz- wicked combo.....just a bunch of kicks and punches man

sonic break- like 12 sonic booms that cover about half the screen.....

somersault strike- a bunch of flash kicks......sortof a signature move

I do not want charlie to be voted in, mostly because of no combos, and all the charge attacks...

zangeif: russian, underwear, sweet grab moves, slow

zangief is awesome, but slow.....he has really good moves (most of them grabs). but the good news is that TMy will add grabs and throws to the game if zangief is added :thumbsup:

double lariat- he spins like a tornado, decent amount of hits

banishing flat- a punch that glows

ariel russian slam- he catches you in the air and throws you to the ground

screw pile driver*- her grabs you and slams you head first into the ground while spinning.

flying power bomb- grabs you and slams you *yawn*

----------supers-------------

final atomic buster*- TONS of slams sweet move

there are other supers that he has but I cant think of any

*= requires you do make a 360degree motion with your keyboard, almost impossible......try it.

dhalsim: the yoga dude that blows fire and stretches

as you already know dhalsim is my homeboy.......my main man since sf2........

unfourtunately n00bs use him the wrong way and be cheap....<span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'>its not that he is a cheap character, he just has more advantages</span>

oh yeah.......takes a while for his arms and legs to go back in, so they are vulnerable to projectiels

yoga fire- like a hadouken....only its fire

yoga flame- very big blast of flame forward

yoga blast- very big blast of flame upwards

yoga teleport- you teleport to a location depending on which command you put in (very useful)

yoga floating- you float, and you can fly pretty high....efforylessly

yoga inferno- directional HUGE flame that can cover the whole screen if you want.......no missing on this move......lowblock damage though

yoga strike- one of 2 sucky things about dhalsim.......if you ever pull this move off, you will catch the guy in the air and spin him and throw him on the ground........1/2 of his life is take by this move.

TMy would probably add another move

bison- a badass badguy.....cool moves.....

oh yeah, bison is sweet, i like him alot......vote for him, i dont care
he can teleport too

pyscho shot- projectile that curves....electric

double knee press- front flip heel to the face

psycho field- probably one of my favorite projectiles ever.....normal electric ball, and then it blows up into your face making a big blast.

warp- teleport (very useful)

he can fly too, dunno what its called

psycho crusher- like wolvies drill claw x

psycho explosion- very big psycho field.....

knee press nightmare- he just pretty much jumps on you and kills you

I would be very happy if bison was voted.....he is awesome

dan- shotoclone, except he is a ton better......tauntelicious

dan is not very powerful, but he hit you where it counts.....your pride

gadoken- mini hadoken that moves an inch......

koryuken- same as shoryuken....uppercut

danku-kyaku- like a double kick thingy...very cool

TAUNTS.......TONS OF THEM

shinku gadoken- a gadoken that last a while longer than usual, does some damage though

koryu reka- big uppercuts

hissho burraiken- like kens shippu-jinrai kyaku.......only alot better

dan is sweet cause of his taunts........otherwise....if you dont know how to use him, you're dead

sakura- japanese chick.......and stuff
umm dont have much to say.

showoken- like how she helps right now......

hadoken- short upward pointing hadoken

shumpukyaku- like hurrican kick.......

midare zakura- big combo.....pretty sweet

shinku hadoken- tons of hadokens going up

haru ichiban- like the super hurricane kick, only you go up.

ok but the char vote isnt the only thing that happend in july.......there were only like 2 big things that happened

the other is the cases of <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>rippers</span>

there were like 5 caught this month!.......and this forum is sheltering them

I certainly hope that by august 7th, this would have come to TMy's attention, and he does somthing about it...cause it gives us a bad name.....

we also have the world warriors tournament (I didnt name it, dont look at me)

its supposed to be the biggest tournament ever, and things are already lookin really good, from the organization to the prizes :sly:

cant wait until it starts so I can own you guys..........

we also had quite the fiasco with the yatta video that I discovered......

it has caused some very different reactions among the members of SFO.....some laugh, some cry, some need visit the bathroom.....

and then the battlegrounds fiasco........it went up, then down , then up then down

I could really care less, but some good things came out of it......well I cant think of any, but somthin did
