Cant join games - I cant join games..

WHy cant I join games? :shocked:

Are you behind a firewall or proxy??

1: go to "Options"
2: click "NETWORK"
3: and check the box that says, I'am behind a firewall or a proxy
4: also, check the box that says, old connection mode (for firewalls

Umm...
..also, where it says Local IP, try typing in AUTO... and you can try to disable that firewall..but i wouldn't because it stop those hackers, viruses, etc.

If you have a firewall like zone alert, or nortan, make sure you check the right settings that allow you to join to the Sfo server.. It should ask you what to you want to allow or w/e.. because I have zone-alert (firewall) and they ask me if I want to allow such and such..

Well you can also trying refreshing yur sfo page by pressing f5

well keep the AUTO there...

and leave everything else to deafult settings...

yeah i already did that but it keeps saying "unable to connect. please check your ip/port settings in the options menu (see faq for more info)"

This is probably because you are behind a firewall or a proxy server. Either see if you (or your network administrator) can free up port 1626 in your company, or try checking the "I am behind a firewall or a proxy" checkbox in the options menu (in the "network" section). If you do that, attempt to connect to EACH of the servers, to see if one of them is the right for you.

That probably can help you out thats what kester was telling you to go to i think.
