THE *NEW GENERATION* isnt as good..

See im from back in the day im never biast FACT is

there are MORE great players....then there ever was in 01 and 02

It seemed like 01 and 02 were better but were still around a lot ofus great players from 01 and 02.

but theres more users VIS a VIS theres more great players. Its pretty much a mathmatical cerntainatitiy.

Though there is also a LOT more ####s.....

Well when i came back to this game last month for a period of time things had changed so much, there were so many spidermen users, basically the top 5 were all spidermen users.

When i checked the scoreboard, high ranking ppl who i wanted to test for skill did not give me a match due to the fact when i had a high rank they challenged me and i beat them, so i think that was a contributing factor on why they kept declining my challenges, but thats the thing you see, back then if someone had lost against me they would thrive to become better than me by challenging me over and over again till they found a weakness in my fighting, its true to say their are a lot of "rank conscience" people in 2004, but that does not mean they do not have skill, im suprised by the fact there are so many good ryu users at this time, and yes even good spidermen users. The thing with these players is confidence in fighting other people who they lost against before hand, these new generations of fighters believe rank is what will get them known, whereas in 2001 our fighting ability matter so much to us.

Back to the fighting skill/ability of the new generations of fighter, as i was saying there is a tremendous amount of ability and im afraid to say much more than in 2001, ill admit there are more "####s" as they are described, but there are also more skilled fighters, back then there was just ryu to start off with, but if their were a wider selection of players i believe ppl would abuse spidermen as much as what we see today.

here are a few good fighters i fought:

Dasupertrooper - excellent shadow/chun, one of the best ive seen.
Hollis - very fast paced ryu who could definately stand up against the top 10 back in the day.
Takeover - Sent abilities are top draw, also not to shabby ryu.
Kid23/dichelle/wolver

Sry dude i did say i forgot some players, your E-ryu is definately top notch, you would be on my list, i was putting names on yesterday by looking on the forum user list, their are loads more i missed which shows the ability of these fighters.

Im sure there was a top 20 list made by one of the mods in early 2002 (which Tarkan won i believe), maybe one can be made right now and we could compare the top 20 from back then and the top 20 from right now. maybe we can even set up some fights (hehe I know its a long shot).

and yeah erm....02 v 04...would be close. it us a long shot but id help out if you want ish.

Just fought Ish in a wolve fight DAM the only close wolve fight ive had for like months still havent lost a wolve fight though. For a long time.
