i actually changed my stance on the subject:

its all different for different people, but mostly, the game is a combination of skill, computer/internet, and how to use things to your advantage, meaning lag, bugs, or opponents weakness, and this is also concidered a skill.

or if you're like some people..

Here is the deal if you have a fast comp there is only 1 downfall you won't be able to block as often. My theory since the game is so fast for you the game will automatically think that you've already gotten hit by the special so your character becomes a zombie and takes the hit. Vipa can relate and so can I. Although having a slower computer gives you the advantage of blocking but destroys the main aspect of the game which is to deal damage.

I have a fast PC... im SO used to playing on a fast PC. And one of the reasons why most people i play i dont even have to play propely to beat them is because i can block so easily BECAUSE my fps is 40, and i can deal loads of damage as on my screen ive NEVER laggy.That meanin my Charecter never slows down,

Ive played on 56k that had a fps of 7 and that really sucked.... i found that i coudnt block whatsoever.

On the other hand my mate shef...had 56k but his PC was poop hot and he was gettin a fps of 37 and an fps of 37 on 56k ment i was dealing poop loads of damage and i could block. And i was a laggy mofo. I only hosted that night and i only used Ryu i won atleast 20 gamees and case joined my game and with that 56k with a fps he was even a challenge.


What im sayin is....if you have a high fps you can deal damage and block, how laggy you are depends on your connection.

I don't call predicting lagg a skill I simply call it awareness. Knowing when lagg will hit you is just another sense for all the veterans of the game. Please don't call that skill because a proper skill in the game would be to evade attacks and deal damage while doing it. You guys know what i mean. but if you must call predicting lag a skill call it an improper skill and not a game skill.

And pip if your comp work so nice why don't you take rank 1 and show the new users of SFO that vets still run this place, i mean if i had a comp that worked nice with the game I would take rank 1 until i can't play no more, that would rpolly be a couple weeks but seems you got time so why don't you take rank 1.

i was rank 2 for like a week constant.......but " air-warriors" was giving himself free wins.......and he woudnt fight me.

Current rank 1 is giving himself free wins....its cougar17 hes actually a really Poor fighter.

Its a shame.....and i been busy.

vets own the tourneys though....

One thing is predicting of where your oponent is on your screen. Sometimes it shows that your oponent is on the other side of the screen, then when you shoot a super he is right in back of you. Most times I predict that he will be in back of me just because of the feel that I am getting in the game, the feel of lag. So let say if I was using ryu I could shoot a shinkuu, but sometimes they end up right in back of you. Sometimes I would predict that is coming so I just go for the roundhouse instead of the shinkuu. i totally agree with u. u got to get to the head of the user. like when shud i super jump cause he is gonna do a special attack and u super jump rite when he does it.so ya like lancer said u gotta think like theres no lag and the person is unseeable.
