no, and i mean it, no RPG comes close to what SEIKEN DENSETSU 3 is for SNES !
not even today !
SQUARESOFT owns and no one ever placed it in !
same goes for RARE SOFT

come on guys, you have no taste if all the company you place are the one of today !

HASBRO really has a way to go as well !

if you ask me to choose, i'm stuck with thses in mind and cannot even choose !

ACTIVISION (mechwarrior 1 and 2, 3 and 4 are too damn stupid, no wonder they aren't made by this company)

yes, squaresoft and raresoft were good companys. but Black Isle were also a very good company, for creating the Baulders Gate series, the Plane Scape Torment series and also the Icewind Dale series, did you play any of those karma?

I choose nintendo. Gamecube is one of their best products yet. The controller is awsome and the games aren't bad. But i can't wait till nintendo's new product to come out this year.

torment i played for a few minutes, yeah it started well... but i can't say more !
baldur's gate, yeah it was great for a dungeons and dragon game !
yet i dislike hack and slash games like diablo !
and that was one !
but yeah i gotta give credits to black isle... they made a good game here and there !

like i said, right now, its all about your opinion and nothing more !

EDIT:
as i said, no games comes close to SEIKEN DENSETSU 3 which have the very best RPG type of play ever, not turn based which is stupid in my opinion ! and then it is has a lot more reality, as in spells do not come out instantly, they take time and you see the character in a summon state ! not to mention the story which is good to a point that it could easily make an holywood movie !

same goes for chrono trigger, how can someone say that chrono trigger wasn't the best RPG they ever played ? and they have no right to say they never knew that game since it was remade on the PSX !

but again it all comes back to their liking !
today's game are all about blood and rocket launchers !
good thing companies comes back to good old COOP games !
now that is more fun then blasting each other to pieces !

im not into nintendo anymore... they got too kiddy for me. xbox has the best graphics but the variety of games suck. the best ones are halo, ninja gaiden, .. the one with the chinese... i forgot the name.. and ive been playing it for a while... the one with the wars and the... people... lol
final fantasy XII would be better if people interacted more and there was less lag. also they should have it so you dont lose sight of something after like 5 feet. all of the japanese vidgame companies (almost all of them lol) are great, and there are some american ones out there that just suck lol.

Co-op/Multiplayer games just own, i never get bored when playing with/against someone else. it just never gets boring, cause its not like playing against the AI. always something different. take CS for instance. i never get tired of the maps. i can play de dust for 4 hours straight if i want.
