but we gave 2.04 BILLION to 117 people in florida, and are only giving 35 million to 150,000+ people in asia?

The numbers don't add up.
And it wasn't a third world, there were pure hotels there. That's why it was a prime turrist locaton and over 7,000 non-asian people are still dead of missing.

It just doesn't add up.

A little while ago they were only giving 3 million. Now, since all the chritisism form other countries and the UN they ten folded their price. but it's still not enough.

We waste more money killing people in iraq than we do saving people in asia. dubya tee eff is up with that?

We go into wars to save people, we kill our own to "save people", but when it comes to just giving money, we're always short.

We've got our priorities fliped up.

In bush's world, war is #1. Then the american economy. then eating. Then remodeling the white house. then, after like 50 more steps, then it gets to the sanctety of the world.

We can't be a nation of the world if we don't act like it.

Let's face it- america is the richest, most powerful country in the world. and yet, we act like not only do we not give a poop about it, we intend to make it more poopty.

It just doesn't add up. It's not fair.

actually according to recent evidnece the swiss are the richest, becauseduring the holocuast the nazi's took everything that the jews had as assests and put them into swiss bank accounts, then after WW2 they were able to keep it all...

Man the u.s. no longer has the true capabilities of designating that much money to a seperate non-goverment disaster. The amount of money going into homeland security and the amount of money owed in imports from asia are sky high. Meaning that at the end of the day we are in the hole (red ink) in certain markets. Money of that kind of magnitude will nowbe designate to homeland issues. If it were a country that was in some sort of alliance or in a position for us to profit from yes we could do more. Unfortunately we are in a republican era and that's just not the republican way.

Yeah, but I mean, Switserland is a small country.

So far japan is fliping us to the daylights. They've given 500 million.
and we're supposed to be the greatest nation on earth?

We gave florida victims 2.04 BILLION. and we can only scrumge our left overs for these 150,000 dead?

We're supposed to be the best nation in the world. We should start acting like it.
