there was 34 charcaters to vote for, INCLUDING APOCALYPSE and ONSLAUGHT !

you can vote for anyone as long as there is a way to rip the sprites for it !
example:
MSH vs SF (emulated)
XM vs SF (emulated)
M vs C (emulated)
XM:COTA (emulated)
you can't vote for any CAPCOM chars, cause this will be a MARVEL vs STREET FIGHTER game !

TMyApp personnaly ask that we stay with MARVEL and STREET FIGHTERS characters !
so don't ask for strider or any CAPCOM chars cause they simply won't be in this game !

PS:
don't ask for a char in MvsC2 cause there is no actual emulator that can rip the sprite from it. since it isn't emulated yet !

I FOUND A WAY TO RIP SPRITES FROM MvsC2 !
i can't use it, but it sures is able to work. you take a video card with INPUT and you plugged your DC to it then you play it on your computer and with a recording tool you rip the sprites and edit them as you like ! that will work but is sure to take lots of time to anyone who want to try it !

But... as for everything else, Karma took care of it... But I have a feeling someone is gonna ask "WhY Isn'T iT CallED MaRVel VS. StReEt FiGhTeR?" so I'll answer that.... It's because you can connect almost every Marvel character to the X-men, whether it's in a comic, or in the t.v. Series. And there is something else to it, but I dun remember it.... Although I recall TMy stating another reason for it being XM vs SF somewhere....

tmyapp started his work on XMvsSF cause it was the best VS game he had seen. but then, WE (players) asked him to do new things like helpers. so he telled himself:"dubya tee eff, i'll just do what i judge good for the game" and then it started to look more and more not like the real arcade game.

in a post i already made myself asking him the question you asked.
here is the answer he gave me...

conclusion:
yes, the name doesn't go with the game that we will end up. but it sure catch your eyes didn't it ? anyway, let be serius, this game was called XMvsSF cause at the start it was suppose to be it, but update by update WE changed it to our likings and TMyApp didn't think that changing the name would be 1st on his TO DO LIST !

I'm just curious on the boundaries here. And one thing i noticed is the Marvel world far out numbers the sf world. I suggest it would be good for one upgrade, a selection of x-men, another upgrade, SF. Cause right now its' like gonna be 4 on 2 countin Spidey.[/quote]
