Tripod does *here's the word* NOT allow outside linking, so thus, you will have to find another host.

Most everyone now does NOT allow outside linking, you have to look at that

so far, off the top of my head, you can't use

Angelfire
Tripod (Both owned by Lycos)
Xoom
and a few others
Geocities (wait...you can, read on)

Geocities has a flaw in it that you can outside link a image only if you save it as a .txt

Tripod doesnt allow remote linking for 1 reason. It takes away bandwidth. So if you remote link with any site then you may as well call yourself a thief. Just upload it to a hosting site like:

www.boomspeed.com
www.7host.com
www.sigrealm.com
www.boomspeed.com
www.ranchoweb.com

and many others.
