im everything that you said about masta, and even more, and sure i said that i was going to drop out, but thats because i was pretty pissed. then i thought about it, but then you said i wasnt considered a vet i dont give a #### if im a vet. vet or not, it was still ####, i mean masta is my bro, but he isnt a vet. and you shouldnt of made that exception for him, look at the name for christ's sake. oh and im not crying, i just knew that a tourney run by a queer would be fliped up.

Yeah i knew from the begging that that tournament was going to be a complete mess since almost every tourney never takes off as u planned is going too, people being rejected and people getting mad, i admit that i was a little disipointed when Shinjuko send the rejected email to me, but then i thought to my self i also i have better things to do like go to work take care of my son and other things thats why i will never host a tourney it takes too much time i dont got and it never goes like it suppose too. Thats why if ur ever going to do a Vet tourney consider that it will never be done, since there is hardly any vets and people are going to be mad about it and thing will heat up in this forum just like it is now, so please people just come in and post what the topic says, just post and leave, post and leave its that easy, post and leave, post and leave

Even thought i know this topic has gone off topic alot this is probably a very good topic, even this topic has brought up old stuff and the vet debate, this is turning into a very good contraversy(how ever u spell that) so im enjoining everyones opinion of this subject, people are doing more than a one sentence post

Dan Hibiki: Why don't you share your insite on how hard it is to host a tournament.

I know the vet tourney wasn't anything (in time) compared to the Clan Wars you hosted... but I'd have to say it's been a hail-storm for the bitchen'.. :biggin:

darkmagicx: If you think it's so stupid, feel MORE then welcome to leave. As I recall, this is a forum meant to discuss this game and what happens in it. I get frustrated @ the number of people bitching about this too... but, well... that's what you sign up for when you host a tournament or a free online game. People start to think it's their priviledge or even "right" to certain things like being included in some tournament that only half the guys even showed up to fight in anyways.

KidKrazySit: I've been seeing this for a while, and quite frankly, I have to disagree with your comment about a vet being someone who plays in the game and plays often... While I have said before, that I'd more readily judge a vet by their posts on the forum, that's because you can see how they "conduct" themselves in there, wheras looking in the archived topscores... won't tell you anything. Someone can fight for a year and be absolutly dominate at this game, and I still wouldn't care if they had an "attitude problem." On the same level, someone can post/cram all they want to for years on end, and if they're flaming/hating/spamming constantly, I'll never view them as a vet either. I attempt to incorporate gameplay, forum posts, and "attitude" into my whole vet/classification thing, but when it comes down to it... attitude rules above all.

Token is a prime example. Always posting, and always playing the game. His one major flaw... he posted/chatted flame on a 48 hr basis. And for that, I'd never view him as a vet.

Mickey Mouse: Oh, now that's a puzzling question. Just why did I put people on my "search" list that were older @ the forum then myself? Come to think of it, EVERYONE I was looking for joined Dec-before. And here's why: Because they actually were/are vets. Yes... everyone just keeps bitching about Dark Masta being in the tournament. You know what? He already hosted a tournament before the vet tourney and did a dam good job with it too. He's starting up a new "clan fansite" with KidKrazypoop (Battle Grounds) and working his ass off for... nothing! What makes people so dense that they'll judge someone soully by their joining date? Dark Masta is a better vet then almost anyone you've ever known. And yes.. you ARE bitching. You're bitching about who we put in, and are stuck in that crown that feels we ought to justify our actions within hosting our OWN tournament.

Paradise-X: Glad someone's trying to keep this thing on topic. I guess it just takes the simple mind of the "new guy" to get the "old guys" to quit their squabling and remember that they're just arguing about things long since past...

SSJDan: Oh, hell no. A "monthly vet tourney" will never (ever) happen. Just look @ all the complaints about the "yearly" vet tourney from a month ago... No one would have the will to host something as heavily bitched at as that.

supercalo: One of the best perceptions yet in this thread. Why is it that everyone who respects what TMyApp is doing is consequently respected on this forum? Now, if I could only tie this in to get people to have respect for what we're doing (people who host tournaments). Afterall, they're both free services, taken out of the free time of our own lives to give people reasonable competition, a reason to fight and train, and above all... a filter for all the bitching, to distract them from the game's problems... :biggrin:

As for what you said to KidKrazyshat... What the hell are you thinking? I mean honestly... Just how many times have we blamed others for out mistakes? Not a single dam time. How many times do you and others have to keep bitching on and on about how "such and such shouldn't have been picked because they're not a vet." Which you fail to point out is an oppion, which is why it's just so ####### impossible to make a tournament where no one bitches about being "rejected" and must continue to bitch about who else should have been rejected to justify their own rejection.

And just why do you think we're ALWAYS defending our actions?? Because you and these other people never quit bitching about it! If you're so confident you'll win in a "debate about the faults of the tournament" then, by all means, create that topic yourself... and lose. You know why you'll lose? Because we've already won. We've (mostly I've since more people are content to blame me) appologized many, MANY times about how it went, and already admitted that the registration was inefficient. You're just yelling at two old stumps that already gave into that fact long ago.

I can only guess who you're refering to are the Senshuk guys, because I made sure NO ONE in the tournament besides Dark Masta and Luna joined after Feb. Ah well... I give up. Well this Vet tourney is a good example for people that are going to host a tourney, its not an easy job and its not going to please everyone all the time, i know i wasnt pleased but still we could always learn from the mistakes of other tourneys thats why i think is a good idea that this should go down in history

we should make more debates about this but not debates about world problems or epidimicts thats just going to drive people way, but problems that happen in the game we could have a very good discution about it like right now even tho its making tentions between people its still good to know whats going on with the game and with people thoughts
