you gotta becareful and faster when fighting a cyclops user. they just keep doing optic blast and optic sweep[and you know how hard it is to dodge the sweep] so what you sould do is use wolverine:
jump up high in the air, drill claw[a classic] and come down with a high punch. block against optic sweep but keep dashing up, then attack. remember: drill claw is the best counter attack. nuff said.
