The stylus fits into the back of the system, so it's REALLY hard to lose. Also, the system comes with a spare stylus, and spare styli (?) are sold in stores rather cheaply. Also, the system is very scratch resistant (except demo units), and the touch screen is very sensitive.

Oh yeah, also, the DS has a thumb pad so you can use your thumb to touch things or use the screen as a digital analog stick in some games, like Mario64.

It's a nice system. I have it, and I'm pleased with it.
