Hes good but is he that good - Michael vick

i thought peyton manning was the highest paid qb? anyways vick isnt really worth so much money, yes hes a very nice player but he isnt a true quarterback and hes not very consistant either.

nope he just signed a new contract and he is good his line could use some work which is one of the reasons y he runs so much and has some really good games and bad ones because it depends on the other teams dfensive line and their db's but he himself is a really good player

It's about damn time the nfl shows the players the real money, the most physically demanding sport get's shortchange by dudes with bats and round balls. The sweat and tears are worthy of the dollar amount.

He doesnt deserve to be paid that much- as mentioned before hes to inconsistent-He has a horrible passer rating, and if you consider him as rusher, hes pretty mediocre and weak. He obviously isnt a pocket quarterback, whenever the ball is snapped he tucks it, then takes off. Hes Not much of a team player either. Contenders dont get shut out by the tampa bay bucs might i remind you.

Payton Manning deserves it a hell of alot more than micheal vick does. At least Payton Manning knows how to throw-49 single seasons TD's anyone(breaking marinos 48 set back in 1985 i believe)?

well i wont disagree with u sayin that manning deserves it more cause i believe that also Manning is a better quarterback but smashing Vick like that isnt neccesary he has a bad passer rating look at his receivers only one worth something would be peerless price who has thus far disappointed me with how often he gets open we are also just getting a new head coach and that affects the way the team plays big time the offense set up for the falcons is supposed to be centered around running not passing so michael vick isnt overated but he isnt worth what hes gettin either

Oh common... anyone saying he isn't worth it is looking at it from a wrong angle. Look at the Antlanta Falcons and what Michael Vick has done for the club. I mean, just ONE season without him and they had a 5 - 11 record or something worse than that.

And boom, he comes back, everything starts rolling again. The tight end T.J Crumpler's breaking the season record without even playing all the games in the season (most passes caught by a tight end) .. atlanta's among the best in the NFL for rushing.. and guess who's number 1 on that list... oh me.. oh my , Michael Vick

It's just unfair to rate him the way you rate other quater backs, cause his worth isn't in his arm or the sorta passes he makes. And whoever talked about the Faclons reciever is right. but it isn't entirely their fault. They've just gotten a new style of offense and Michael Vick isn't quite too comfortable throwing to the outside recievers most of the time... so that's why the tight end does most of the catches.

Look at the game against the Panthers. Now he had a bad day throwing, but he made the plays in the regular time that actually got them the win in overtime. The pass, which was almost 30 (or over.. not quite sure) yards and the run on 4th and goal (and about 15 yards away) ... I mean, you can't get something like that from any other quarter back in the league.. and the falcons feel the necessity to build their club round him. So I say, he's worth it (to the falcons)

Comparing him to what a QB like Peyton or Daunte Culpepper has done isn't quite fair, cause they play the game quite differntly.

but to round things up, I must say that football is actually better than american football in my opinion... and for ye american wombats, I mean soccer (goodnes.. did I just call it that again... :biggrin: )

You can't quite put a price on the effect of soccer and the world. That's why it's called the beautiful game :biggrin:

take any starting qb from any team and watch them lose a ton of games. im not saying vick isnt a talent hmmmm lets make this simple. if you had to compose a football team and risk your life on the outcome of thier season who would you start at quarterback?
