Vets of 2001 - How many are left?

I have to agree with Pip. ABC, what do you exactly define a vet as? There are many people who have been here for 2 years, which is very long, but didn't play in 2001, but let's try to keep this on topic.

Yes, I thought this would come up, so to find out lets start from the start.

The deffinition of vet is.

A person who is long experienced or practiced in an activity or capacity.

As you can see that means a long period of time, that you have spent on something. Although this topic is related to 2001 vets. I see many pepole in this game who are from 2002 and desurve to be called vets. This topic although is about pepole from 2001.

So as you see from my post that there are many, many pepole who need to be called vets. Although they are not due to them not being here back then. Take Blanka09, he is a good example he sighned up just a few months back and he has done alot of research on this fourm. He knows a lot from the time he has been here and is very wise.

Take me myself as an example whaen I joined the fourm back in 2001. I made mabe what 4 or 3 post not alot. You couldn't call me a regular on this fourm. I was always playing the game though and at that time found this fourm not as a intrest. Although I did play the game talked to alot of pepole on the game and learned that it was not so bad.

Untill a few months ago I never evean wanted to come back here. Then I though mabe I could just go back and see what was up and decided to stay. So as you can see, this community states if you are a vet. If you don't act like one then why would someone call you one.

So I hope you see what I am saying in this post, also I do not mean to offend any one with it.

Also, seeing as how every thing I have not been here for I would not evean call myself a true member of this community.

etc etc bla bla that ant really vets BUT there great fighters.....so i dont care.

and out of the vets that are left there are only a few that are STILL great i mean one of the best players in the game for instance some1 like Karma ...hes been here for ages but hes not a great fighter hes a GOOD fighter but not great.

a Vet inst just a good fighter its about how long theyve been year...even bugs02 his another name hasnt been around that long Blankas in the middle with loads of other people.

I consider someone a vet who started in August 2001 to around May 2002 and who has a lot of experience in the game.
The one's that usually leave an impact are those that either dominate in the top scores or spend their lives being forum junkies.

Lol thats what I have just saifd in my post above, a vet is determind by time. Something better then a vet though is someone who supports this community and helps it out. Right now there are only about 7-10 pepole who are still here from 2001. Once we are gone then it will be 2002 members turn.
