Well, Mortal Kombat has alot of blood, which definetly adds something to the game, and the characters doesn't have a "cartoonish" look, instead having a realistic look. As for the more stragety thing, I don't see where it takes more to fight..but i can see what you're saying there if you are talking about Deadly Alliance. I was talking about the Genesis series. But in MK there does seem to be more in tripping your opponent and the multiple punches than in SF. I don't really put one game over the other, the both have thier differences.
