*looks at forum* Crap, I haven't been here in a while.... Anyway lets clear some things up...
1. Yes, pip99 and I fought and yes, pip99 won. When I said "you could be one of them," you said, "Dude, your obviously new around here." What was that supposed to mean? I've been here for a while, and just because my Member level is "####ie", trust me, I'm not new. I did learn things from my fight with you, and said that it works MOST of the time, and there are some good Sentinel fighters.^_^
2. Thanks Misfit for your quote. I do believe that you should never underestimate your opponent. Everyone learns from losses and wins alike, and I'm sure that both ofus learned from the fight between us pip, other than "You won, I lost".^_^ Oh and Misfit, I happen to use your tactic often.
3. "Getting back on Topic" Ah yes, the 'button mashing"....That can get you nowhere on SFO, just because there is always a way to get around that. But doing that upclose can create some pretty nice combos, and wouldn't be considered in the "Cheap" department^_^.
4. RYU TACTIC: The Dragon Punch(shoryuken) can lead to a nice air combo if done correctly. If I am up close creating combos"not exactly button mashing," or the opponent has jumped, I follow up with a Dragon Punch then superjump to him/her and either do a series of Hardkicks or continous Hadoukens. Dragon Punches can also be helpful in avoiding attacks from above. *looks at posts* *sighs* I guess I'll rest my hands for a while.
