Logic - It is correct

ok i read this in a car and driver magazine and it makes complete sense!


i am making the estimated assumption that 100 people die on the highway every hour.

if you take a 60 mile trip going 60mph, then you will get to your destination in one hour, therefore, 100 people died while you were on your journey.

if you take the same trip going 120mph, then you will make the trip in 30minutes, therefore only 50 people would have died on that trip, therefore you will decrease your chance of dying by 50%!
