Actually they have a case belive it or not. It was racial to make a remark like that well VERY RACIAL. Video Games, Movies, Television-Shows, Radio-Broadcastings. All play a major role in society and should respect their "POWER" that they have. There is a limit for how far you can go with racism. It caused alot of problems before well not alot A WORLDWIDE problem before. So people are VERY sensitive to the racism issue. They learnt from the past that if not carefull it can get out of hand without even knowing it. I know some people could careless. I know some here are also like my friend Dave. Who always tells me,"Im not racist I hate everyone equally." Well if you are like my friend Dave then you're hopelessly lost in a void of hatred. Which only resulting path is a completely depressing and miserable life.
Also I do think that everyone is given a right to FREE SPEECH and should be able to express their opinions. One reason why the KKK and other HATE Organizations in America havent been shut down by the Goverment of the USA. They have the right to express their opinions and ONLY THAT. Well I got off topic a little but really to be racist in any form or fashion is not only degrading yourself but being ignorant to the fact that. EVERYONE is created equal and the right to freedom from pursecution and the right to pursue happiness.
In closing yes video games do cross the lines sometimes not only in racism but other unjust manners aswell. Yes I agree with some here its just a GAME, yes its just FBF/3D animation which is coded to sync to your button-pressing commands in binary code passed through chips by electricity ect...BUT when thousands of people play these games and get so involved in the story. Also that most buyers are "kids" who are just learning how to behave in a mature way isnt good. Because if just ONE KID became racist towards Haitians it would truely be a sad day for the gaming community in a hold. Like I express on this forum and other forums and in my life and whereever Im at. Everyone should be treated with absolute dignity and respect unless proven by the ACTIONS of that individual otherwise.
