Zangief is not slow, he walks slowbecause unlike other charcaters he doesn't dash in, he walks... but remember he can still dash forward just like others !
also his moves are so easy ont he keyboard, i mean its way easier to do moves on a keyboard then on a gamepad ! as for his moves, well he is unstopable even if you don't have the mech zangief. he has moves who can pass thru projectiles and he has the dash function and even the super jump just all other characters ! i say he got as much chance as any other chars !
