First of all neo was getting his ass kicked by a different kind of Mr. Smith. This was the one that used to be the oracle. He had the eyes of the oracle so he could see anything in the future including what neo was going to do. Another thing, Neo was getting his ass kicked on purpose, that is why Agent Smith got so freaked out, because he saw that his vision on the future was not correct. Neo knew the only way to kill all of them was to be one and let the machines overload his brain. So he did.

I am a Matrix fan, but I wouldn't say it totally sucked. I mean, I only say that if I didn't enjoy one bit of it. Are you saying you did not enjoy it at all, not any sceane?
