as of the time I post this message we are up to 95 registered participants...

now on to the new info you guys need to know:

The Tournament will begin this upcoming Tuesday.
some major changes have occured because of the sheer size of this thing..

first off it will no longer be a best of seven matches...that has been brought back to a best of 5.

Originally you had 2 days to play your match, however that has been changed to one..(I made this change basically because I want this thing played and over with in about 2 weeks, to make sure ppl don't lose interest)

Heres how it breaks down...
On Monday morning you will all awaken to a fresh email from me. The email will contain who you are facing, what character they will be using, their email address... PLUS one of two things:

Half of you will get an email telling you to send ALL (and I mean ALL) the available times you can play on tuesday to your opponent...EXAMPLE: I tarkanx can play at 1-4 pm, and 9-11pm..

While the other half of you will get an email telling you to wait for your opponents email, look it over, and send back an email to them setting up your match time...EXAMPLE: I Zing79 after looking over when tarkanx can play, and comparing it to when I can play, have set our match time to 9:30 pm on Tuesday.

That's how your matches will be set up...I tell who you face, and you use that format to set up your match times..

VERY IMPORTANT...if you are part of the half sending your email to your opponent telling him what times you can play at, then you have to send that email by 5pm monday, or you're disqualified...if you are the other half finalizing the match time, you have to send back that reply by 9 pm, or you're disqualified.

Ive said this before, but I'll repeat myself...THE TOURNAMENT WAITS FOR NOBODY!!!! So do what you have to do to meet the deadlines, or ur out.

As far as the disqualification goes...if I get an email from either one of the players saying he didn't receive the info he needed on time, then boom...disqualification...
EXAMPLE: tarkanx sends me an email saying he sent the available times email to zing79, but zing79 never sent him back the match time, then zing79 is gone!

Some quick things...the tournament will be played in the eastern time zone...so watch out! That may affect when you can play the other person! EXAMPLE: I zing79 live in the western time zone, so when I say the match will be played at 9:30pm, that means it will actually be 6:30 pm for me...watch out for that!

That applies to every time mentioned

I must receive an email FROM THE WINNER by 12 am Wednesday with the final score of the match.(btw, don't make the dumbass mistake of sending it to me at 12 am thursday thinking that's what I meant by Wednesday, because you're to stupid to know how a clock really works)

And then the circle will repeat itself...you will wake up on wed morning and have an email with ur new opponent and his info on it, and follow the steps above to set up you match which will be played Thursday.

That's how it will work...one day for the match, and one day to set up the match.

The tournament will no longer be double elimination for anybody...you loose you're out.
However...since there will be no separate brackets between wolverine and ryu, ALL wolverine players will be ranked ahead of ryu players regardless of what the top scores says. (that's the only thing remaining from the original rule I had stated before).

There is a 15 min grace period for playing your matches...that means you don't have to show up at exactly 9:30 for example...anytime between 9:30 and 9:45 is ok...anytime after that, and u guessed it...GONE

There will be more info emailed to you on Sunday.
Feel free to ask any questions about what you don't understand right here... I will answer them.

Nice using my name

But thanks for telling me about that, since I don't want to wait 2 weeks for my opponent, one day is very good to me. And I was going to say something about time zones, but you said it already.
