im just curious...
the basic reason (from what i've observed) why some other players are complaining of how cheap a certain character is bcoz, each playable characters has different damaging percentage... just a little comment, if tmyapp can make all characters' damaging hits equal, (whether a SUPER hit or just a regular one) then we wouldnt have a problem about cheapness... also, the game would basically become fair (i think)... ??? |

i dont think so, people can still do the same move again and again because thats what cheap means even if it does less damage

i don't think making all the attacks equal in damage would be a good idea. Think about it from this angle, in real life if a 120 pound person gets into a fight with a 220 pound person there's no way there strength will be equal. You might be wondering what im talking about. This is my point normally in fighting games the faster characters are weaker like spiderman
while the slower characters are stronger like zangief

That woulnt solve anything, people will still be complaining.
cause some specials are harder to pull off than others. Example: Wolvy VS. Ryu Wolvy will do his special, Ryu will just hadoken him and stop his special. Now Ryu does the special and takes equal amount of damage that wolvy takes. This will be unfair to wolvy because he cant get in close to pull of his special making it impossible for Wolvy to win. Same goes with other characters. So that will just strike up more problems, just keep it how it is.

actually, my point here...
if spidey has the MOST damaging hit rate, eventually, all players would chose him for example (just an example, k?) if my opponent choose spidey, then i choose ryu, even if i choose ryu, there's nothing i have to worry about if he plays cheap on me bcoz if he use maximum spider on me, i can do the same damage if i use a super hadoken thus, the game play would be based basically on the individual's game strategy or how GOOD his internet connection is... |
