AHHH...its that time of the year again when ppl ask for strategies...

dont you think its about time we revive another STRATEGY THREAD for every character?

i mean, whenever i fight a nubie, they would always ask me "howd i do that" and some praising stuff

i mean, instead of flaming them, lets help them!

so, who wants to start a "per character" strategy?

ur so damn right instead of swearing at them u shud just help them...

Start with ryu

I use hadokens when the game starts atleast 2 or 3 *then i jump backwards* ....when ppl gets to level 1 all i do is JL AND 1 helper to drop the level thing and finish them off ....

long story cant really explain

My turn...

Ryu
well, im not a ryu user but i see to it whenever i use ryu, i would jump immediately on my opponent then do some hadokens while he is still recovering from the hit and attempts to stand

most of the ryu users i fought use this strategy
they never gave the chance their opponent to stand up
they use this as an advantage

Cyclops
well, i dont have a clear strategy for cyke
when my opponent is far from me, i use some optics
when he's near me, i use some kicks (down+back+any kicks)

Wolverine
the basics to avoid enemy hits is wolvie's drill claw
when your opponent is far from you, revive you health
that's all i can think of.... :laughlong:

Chun-li
As soon as the fight starts, jump. Air-jump until your opp has no idea where you are (lagg ). As you land, stomp on 'em (dn + k2), trip (dn + k3), then rapid-kick. It's a great opener, except if they block the stomp. If they do, yer screwed. ???

Ryu
Jump. Hadoken on yer way down. If you're lucky, they'll have jumped to meet you. If you land near 'em, roundhouse. Otherwise, hadoken, & jump. Repeat until caught.

Ryu
immediately after the match starts, jump and either hadouken or 3K as you get near to him. (you can send your helper now but it's just for insurance, if i'm against a noob, i would use it because i won't need it later on, but if i'm against an actually good player i'll save it for those crucial tiebreaker moments)
now trip him a few times finishing with an uppercut.
you can try uppercutting a second time to catch him on the way down but it is highly unlikely that it'll connect due to the lag-factor.
instead, i would choose trip->jump back->helper->hadouken(while in the air from the jumpback)->then use you're super.
if you have used this last combo correctly, then your hadouken is over top of your opponent, preventing a superjump getaway, and your helper is attacking himjust before your special so that he is immobilized in the blocking department, meanwhile, the screen freezes and you see that wonderful pic of ryu in the background.....BAM lights out.

Amateurs
I might do a jump towards them with round house kick in air, then trip them when they start to recover forward middle punch doing 2hit. Then finsh it with a hadouken or dragon punch. lol a sweet combo to pull of in the start.
