TarkanX, this is some what good information,but your not average so it's not completely valid.From your information I've concluded this.

Ryu=Doesn't own Spiderman and Onslaught.

Wolverine=Cyclops is his equal,doesn't own Spiderman and Onslaught,Ryu.

ChunLi=Doesn't own Ryu,Cyclops,Spiderman

Sentinel=Owns Onslaught and kinda owns Spiderman.

Cyclops=Equal to wolverine, doesn't own Ryu,Spiderman.

Onslaught=Doesn't own Sentinel,Cyclops,ChunLi.

Spiderman=Doesn't own Sentinel,Onslaught.Kinda owns Ryu.

Ok TarkanX, you and Tupacwestsider seem to specialize in different characters...I recall you even stating that you don't enjoy playing with ChunLi.Perhaps this may have effected the results.

I know you own with sentinel and Ryu.Thoe results are perhaps correct.Maybe you should find members that are masters...of those certain characters.

Read what i said. 2 Players that have high skill level, and the same skill level fight eachother.

those don't calculate the human physiologie and chances.
sometime the person is just lazy, other time they have PERSONNAL problem and they just play it straigh without even knowing what they are doing. and sometime they are like puching button at random and wins by a perfect. some other time they are playing their best but still lose cause of lag.

Yes they are with lag, but just aboutevery fight is with lag, so these are nearly accurate.


karma: What the hell is your problem with tiers, tiers represent the truth. Look if 2 people had the same skill level in MvC2, one chooses cable, and the other chooses ryu, who do you think will win? Cable(you can't deny it). That's how tiers are, they stack up the good characters from the bad or average ones.

Liek I said before, I don't have to play with a character to see hwo good they are. I watched some matches as an observer, and trust me, I know basically any Chunli strategy, I just can't use them because my POS computer.

I'm not good with Sent much at all anymore(since he lost his glitch), and I don't own with Ryu(but I can give a really good fight).

I don't need to find the masters of each individual characters. I know the characters strategy(almost learned spider man), I can use it in battle(but my SOB computer blocks me from doing so). Most of the "masters" don't even know the fullest strategy for a charcater, some only use one strategy, for example,

Ryu: hadouken, hadouken, hadouken, jump hadouken, super jump, hadouken(charges meter), shinkuu hadouken.

Wolverine: Drill Claw, Drill Claw, Drill CLaw, slide, slide, slide, slide, berserker Barrage, BBX

Chunli: lightning kick

Cyclops: optic blast, optic bast, optic blast, mega optic blast

Onslaught: charges at opponent, super beam

Spider Man: web ball, web ball, maximum spider

and the table mean nout...sentinel beat cyclops 8 times out of 10..no no no..

personally the game was fine until spiderman came along..

Sentinels rockets own spider man. Spider man is almost always in the air, and so Sentinel hits him out. Also, Spidey isn't good in up close battles.

Okay, do you want to know how I got those match-ups? I'll tell you character by character.


Ryu vs Wolverine: Ryu can play keep away all day, and run away, but all Wolverine has to do is get inside, and BBX Ryu. It's hard to connect, but it's about chance.

Ryu vs Chunli: Same with Ryu vs Wolverine, Chunli can only do one thing in this match, and that's lightning kick, its hard to connect it, but if it connects, She gets a good upper hand.

Ryu vs Sentinel: All Ryu has to do is get up close, and it's over. Sent has very limited options against Ryu.

Ryu vs Cyclops: Cyclops keep away doesn't prevent Ryu from winning. Ryu could just get up close, but sometimes, Cyclops can keep away, and when Ryu gets close, he can play run away, which is a pain.

Ryu vs Onslaught: Onslaught wins this fight, All ONslaught has to do is charge, and use his anti air move. Ryu can't play up close, or keep away, he doesn't have many chances, but if he can connect a hurricane kick super, he can have it in the bag.

Ryu vs Spiderman: Ryu gets beat. Due too Spider senses, Spider man can counter Ryu's supers. Spider man can stay in the air all day, and keep hitting Ryu from there. Ryu's anti-air can stop him, but it shouldn't be abused.

Wolverine vs Chunli: It goes either way, which chunli having the advantage. It's who ever connects their move wins. Chunli has more options than Wolverine, so Chun wins.

Wolverine vs Sentinel: Wolverine easily beats Sentinel. Sentinel can onyl Rocket punch, and that's it. Run Away can work with Sent, but Wolverine is fast, so he can just catch up to him. BBX owns him.

Wolverine vs Cyclops: People might be going bonkers why I said 5-5. Well, it's pretty easy. Cyclops just does optic blasts, but that's easy pickings for Wolvie. He can Slide, then do a BBX which deals about 60% on Cyke. Since Cyke only stays in one place(doing projectiles),, it's easy for Wolvie.

Wolverine vs Onslaught: Onslaught just keep charging at Wolvie, and using keep away, WOlvie can't do much unless he gets up close, then it's BBX.

Wolverine vs Spider man: Spider man can keep Wolvie at bay with Web Sting super, but If Wolvie connects a BBX, say good bye to 90% of Spider mans life.

Chunli vs Sentinel: Chunli lightning kicks Sentinel, and it's all over, Sentinel can't do anything, especially with Chunli's triple jump.

Chunli vs Cyclops: CYclops just optic blast Chunli out of the air, it's hard for Chunli to get off her lightning kick trap.

Chunli vs Onslaught: Chunli can just triple jump over Onslaughts Anti-air super, and then lightning kick from there, Onslaught has some chances to counter, but Chunli has the edge.

Chunli vs Spider man: It's hard for Chunli to get the lightning kick on Spider man, since he's so fast, and Spider man can just hit her out of the air with his 2 supers.

Sentinel vs Cyclops: Sentinel has no chance period, Cyclops can just fireball him and then super all day.

Sentinel vs Onslaught: One of Sentinel's few win match ups. Sentinel can just keep blasting Onslaught(with HP).

Sentinel vs Spider Man: Sentinels rockets help beat Spider Man. Spider Man is always in the air, so Sentinel htis him out of there, and Spider Man isn't so good on ground matches.

Cyclops vs Onslaught: Cyclops can just optic blast onslaught all day.

Cyclops vs Spider Man: Cyclops can hit spider man out of the air, but SPider man Can get a bit up close, and do his various supers, it's not that hard.

Onslaught vs Spider Man: easy match for Onslaught. Maximum Spider doesn't work, and Onslaught can just hit spider man out fo the air. Onslaught can do his ramming move, and take of chunks of Spider Man's life. Spider Man takes damage too poorly.
