Buu Saga or end of DB"Z"?

Buu saga:

Goku: 38
Gohan: 16
Vegeta: 44
Krillin: 38
Tenshinhan: 41
Yamucha: 41
Goten: 7
Trunks: 8
Piccolo: not quite sure, probably 16-20

End of DB"Z"
------------
add 10 years to each one of them.

This is the beginning of the Buu saga? That can't be right. At the end of the Cell Games, Gohan was 12 (remember, + 1 year for the ROSAT training), then I think there was a 7-year period of time between Cell games and Buu saga. Wouldn't that make Gohan 19? Then Goku would have to be a little older, because at the beginning of DBZ, wasn't he into his 20s?

I'm not trying to start a debate, don't get me wrong. I'm just trying to clear up some confusion on my part.

In the Anime, at the Cell games, he's 11, in the manga, he's 9. The Buu saga is 7 years later.

there is a lot of series of states there all divrent words but i think tarks right but gohan is in high school so well in the american series in japan he's in college

Hhmmm...where can I get the magna? Remember, my town sucks. I don't have much of a choice on what to debate on because all I can get is the English version.

Piccilo is quitre a bit older than Gohan. I think about 6 years. Piccilo Daimou was defeated by Goku when he was...13 or 14...or 12. :biggrin: So, if Goku and Chi Chi had Gohan when Goku was...18 or 19 (help me...), and it was four years afterwards, then Gohan would be 4 and Piccilo would be 9 or 10.

That means that during the Buu saga, if Gohan was 16, then Piccilo was 24, and Goku was...umm...nevermind.

why ?
reason:
1 - in the serie, he is in "COLLEGE" at the begining of the buu saga ! COLEGE = minimum 17 years old

2 - "IF" he were in HIGH SCHOOL, that still doesn't make sense. HIGH SCHOOL = 11 years old.

do the math on your age and calculate the time it took you to be at HIGH SCHOOL and you'll know why this isn't possible for him to have 9 !

i would believe that 18 years old would be a good answer !
let me try and calculate from start...
beginning of DBZ = 4
sayien saga = 5
2 year after namek saga = 7
3 year training before androids = 10
1 year training hyper bolic time chamber = 11
7 year after CELL = 18

no, he's definitely 18 year old at the beginning of the buu saga !
well not exactly...
REAL AGE = 17
PHYSICAL AGE = 18

that's about it.
if you think my calculs are wrong you tell me it !

EDIT:
in the 9 movie, GOHAN IS 9 year old... but since this movie doesn't fit in the serie then we cannot use that to determined his real age !

except for one point !
exactly how much time passes before everyone like krillin, yamcha, tien, chaozu got revived afetr the NAMEK saga ? i putted 2 years but i doubt it was exactly that ! i am sure it is more then 1 year thoo !

If you're 11 years old, you're not going to be in high school. You're gonna be in 5th grade. 99.9% of ppl aren't in high school until age 14-15. And you're not in college until at least age 18.

And Gohan was not in College in the series. I'm sure he was in High School.

You see, your calculations are going by the Anime/English series. However, I believe that Tarkan is getting them directly from the Japanese Manga, which is the OFFICIAL source of everything DBZ.

However, I'm still waiting for Tark to answer my Q
