Sentinal - Cheap ass bastard

well i just got done in a fight with some stupid cheap f**ker called dreaded, he fought with sentinal, and man he was so f**king cheap, all he did was a rocket punch and my hadokens couldnt stop it, i hate this cheap shit, thats the kind of stuff that makes me want to quit the game, is there anything that you can do about sentinals cheap ass?

no offense, but if ur complaining that sentinels rocket punch, if repeated over and over, is cheap and should be changed, u'll have to change the original game. U can do that in the real thing. U just have to find a way to get out of it. Plus, sentinel is pretty easy to beat with wolve, so try fighting with him for a while

All characters have been, are, and will be used in a cheap manner...

Ryu: Hadoken, duck punch, hard kick
Wolverine: Corner rape, drill claw, slide claw
Chun Li: Lightning kick, duck kick, supers
Sentinel: Sentinel beam, sentinel force, rocket punch

They can be tweaked to limit their cheapness (slowed down, priorities changed, etc.), but I doubt that it will ever be "fixed". Just try to figure out the cheap users weakness; ex: Ryu duck punch, counter with hadoken; Wolverine drill claw, counter with slide claw; Sentinel rocket punch, counter with Sentinel beam. There's always a similarly cheap solution to get rid of a cheap player, you just have to experiment and find out what it is.

chunli lightning kick cheap !
try and not doing it in a fight !
all you have to do is block it when she's close !
then boom she's wide open !

all chars have their strategies but it's all to the player to know how to play them !

If you were a truly skilled fighter, you would be able to get past Sentinels rocket punch.
I mean, c'mon, is the rocket punch really that hard to get away from.

Here's what I do when I fight a "cheap" Sentinel user. If i'm Ryu(which I always am) , and you want to repay the favor of being cheap, just keep jumping and HK at him. He's so big, your not going to miss.

yes true, and so are you saying that you are a truly skilled fighter kks? well neways, he did the rocket punch, sure i got past that, but as soon as i got close to the bitch he would send out those lil sentinal things and the game was laggy as ####, so when it quickly froze up and unfroze i found myself back in the corner getting my ass whooped, but i was able to get past him 1 round with him being cheap, but his cheapness just grew until he would cheap me out so much to where i couldnt even attack.

Sounds like then ur just angry cause of lag. and theres not much u dan do about that.
