the reason it has more than 1 color for the chat text is due to me wanting to see which color best fits the white border ouline of the game. on the members list area it's 3 colors when it should only be 2 but i got lazy :biggrin: yellow would be default text color for that while the red would be the highlighted color. now the buttons, same reason as the game text, to see which suit the white border outline the best :biggrin:

Pretty sweet job there, I like the white with white or with red text :biggrin: but it just mades the green text stick out more and kill my eyes faster..... *shudders*

there is one thing i would really want more then the rest !

let me give you a classic example...
in mIRC (an IRC program) there is that different text color for each different kind of thing.
like the actions like the command /me is purple, the normal text is black, the text for those who join/quit is green. so i wonder why not do this as well ?

i mean come on, try that... people who talk have text in RED and those who just quit/join have text in green. all that in a good old dark yellowborder !
what ya think ?

this way we can even differeciate those who just join/quit'ed !

thats a good idea karma... and you can assign different colors to vip's,nwo's, mods etc... it would make it look cooler... then you will know whos good to fight

no i dont like the idea of free choosing so i think the colors should be chosen by mods and admins

I like blanka09's idea about choosing the skin color or whatever, but I also think of "What is the fricken point?".

This game does not save your settings, meaning you would have to go to options all the time just to change the color of your skin. Which really has no point in it cause it is just the color of the skin. And I know some people are lazy, and they will stop going to options, and we will have a skin chooser that no one really uses. That is the reality.

Just leave the default skin color. We are all use to the colors, you must be a vampire if you think the default colors are blinding. I bet if we were to choose something like "red" or "blue", the little kids on the chat are going to be like "OMFG CRIPS.. BLOODS! REPRESENT!". Pathetic. -_-

lol @ that.

The idea of having different colors to represent different parts of the chat seems pretty logical if there needs to be a change, if not i'd be happy with things the way they.
But as for the idea itself it be something similar like....

rage factor points = red
someone entering = n/a
someone leaving = n/a

The colors for the ''n/a'' can be thought of by someone other than myself, as i can't think of something suitable to fit the criteria :biggrin:
