I had no idea that u can get a double KO when fighting an opponent. I knew u could when fighting in story mode but not real fights. And it happened in a weird way too. I was fighting Escorpion, we both had a small amount of energy and one player left. Then he got the last hit and I lost (at least i thought so) but then immediatly the "opponent has left game" screen poped up and he died too. Then the game narrator shouted double KO. Who wins the match when this sort of thing happens? No contnue screen or game over screen poped up. I was able to leave by clicking on the menu tab and it didnt say "Ending the game will result in a loss being added to your score." It said "End game and go to main menu." So like I said, when this happens, who wins the match?

no, if someone syncs out wait untill the screen says ''opponent left the game'' then reload the game, no one will get the loss, it'd be considered a draw,
but in your case you left the game by ending it through menu so i'm presuming you'd have got the loss,
also double ko's do happen when fighting on the servers.

In this event nothing will happen to the score/rank of each user. It will be as if the match never took place.
