Embarassing things - Your parents do/make you do in public - Page 2

Woah, woah...ppl ppl. Calm down. I don't care who started it but let's not start flaming each other. I really would hate to see a fight over something so stupid.... look $K it's his life just leave him be. I know you probably meant well and Definition he probably really did mean well, but he doesn't know the whole story about you and your parents so you probably feel like he's trying to tell you what to do...but let's just drop the thing.

Erm, an embarrassing thing that happened to me that dealt with my parents would have to be when I was winning awards at school and they kept clapping like crazy sayin' that's my girl and if that wasn't enough she took the awards to work and showed EVERYBODY. So now when I go do volunteer work at her job everyone refers to me as the smart girl...this may not seem embarrassing to you but it is to me...do you know how much weight are on my shoulders....maybe I should of just been stupid...I doubt she would brag about that....

Elena, i know what you mean, my parents did it all the times, until i clearly told them i had enough of em showing up on people like that !

i mean come on parents... it might be your girl but its her life not yours... there is nothing wrong with being happy for her but you don't have to go brag about her all the times either !
at least that's how i feel about that.

my parents always talks about me to all their relatives and each time i see a new person i didn't knew about they already knows everything about me, how do you think i feel when someone talks about my life and i don't know jack about theirs !

our parents are such crazy people sometimes ! :colgate:

on a side note i will simply enforce what ELENA said... you are nobody when it comes to judging the life of a person, so don't go saying things about his life will ya !
BTW, i'll say it again, stealing is wrong, i will never try it cause i already did... so it prooved that you didn't knew one thing about me... and believe me, it wasn't embarassing to go back and tell them you did a mistake.

maybe you liked stealing... but i never did !

The embarrasing thing so far was in six grade i wore my pants backwards but good thing no1 noticed =D

Umm when I use to play football in junior high she'd walk in to pick me up.....and act like she was ready to fight...

Then I Woke Up And My Clothes Wernt There, And I Had Such A Hangover.

Hasn't happened to anyone at work, but I would say the most embarassing would have to be someone spilling HFl (Hydrogen Flouride) or HCl (Hydrochloric acid)... and you'll have to strip naked run accross the hall into the shower... now that would REALLY suck for whomever :biggrin:

Lol...I don't know what that has to do with a parent. But just imagining it would be funny...then watching them trip into the wrong bathroom would be even funnier...*whistles*

Yeah, thank God you both don't work in my laboritory... lol... in anycase, we've had cases were the subjects (lol... don't know why I'm calling them that O_O) were to shy to take off their clothes and go butt naked

I guess they were more worried about their "dignity" than their lives. Luckily the chemicals weren't that hazadous :biggrin: ... but in reality, safety laws require that you strip and take a good shower when something like that happens. And if you're lucky enough, you get a buddy to help keep others from walking towards your path... Lol :biggrin:

But we're all professionals, so I don't think anyone would purposely stand in front of the shower just to take memory pictures; I mean... that would be quite sick.. considering the fact that there'll be other ppl there.
