Sfo with 3 on 3 - I want ur opinion

i was thicking about the game can have a 3on3 tag that way 3 players can fight together 3 players againts other 3 >>>>just wondering tell me what do u thick here>>>>....,.. thanks

I see a few problems with that...with 2on2 tag, you can alternate between the 2 people...with 3on3...how would it work?

Lemme set up an example. There are 3 people on 1 team (as you said) and you want to tag to the 2nd person.....then hwne you tag to the 2nd person, and after fighting for a bit, you want to switch back to the 1st person....looks like you would have to tag in player 3 before player 1 since this game's tag order is (player1 then player 2 then back to player1 again and so on)

Not to mention ALOT more lag since it's 3on3...and in vairables...all 3 would come out and attack..that just seems like too much power against 1 person...and if youwere to block..it would eat out a good chunk of ur life.

Doesn't seem logical. Sry

well theres obviously other combonations like to tag the second partner press the already HP+HK........ what about to tag the third partner press HP+MK? there are many ways and i really think this is a good idea......... but i think there should be seperate servers for different types* of fighs........ like a server for 1 on 1+tag
a server for 2 on 2 tags and a server for 3 on 3 tag matches?? and to solve the variable problems....... just make it 2 person variables instead of all 3! but yea lag is a problem but lag is never gonna leave so why not add this?

let me be straight on this one as it isn't the first time i hear people asking us for 3 on 3 !

here is why it cannot be done...

1 - 2 on 2 tag generates already an ammount of lag and bugs capable of ruinning a game completely. so 3 on 3 would presumably do even worse thus creating games that would be unplayable at all, or if playable many would brag about how unfair, how laggy and how hellish in general it would be thus prooving us that it would be a bad idea !

2 - TMyApp doesn't like the 3 on 3 kind of match that MvsC2 gave... thus his fanatism comes form XMvsSF which was only 2 on 2 and he thinks that was the best game out of all the VS series ever created. thus he would simply say no to this idea as he doesn't like the 3 on 3 kind of match.

3 - having 3 people on scree would force another major update to the engine already created thus asking tmyapp a good old 6+ months to do such an engine. thus, with all the bugs and fixes he gotta do, he doesn't have time to do such a stretched engine.

4 - 3 on 3 means no more variables as variables already take out one life's bar easily, thus 3 on 3 would make sure of an instant kills even if blocked. which would results in a complete overhaul of all characters stats. which up to now for 7 chars, he took around 3 years to create them all. so changing all 3 chars would make this idea take up another 6+ months to rechange all chars.

5 - this idea been brought up a lot times and all of the times it always came back to tmyapp hating the idea for he hates 3 on 3 games... he likes 2 on 2 better and as you know this ganmeisn't what we love but what he loves ! thus if he hates it then truly he won't put any efforts into it and without efforts the game wouldn't be where it stands today !

these brings back to all the same things... too much works for what it is worth for...
this is why the idea has been ditched for the last 3 years !

3 on 3 wouldn't work in my opinion, 2 on 2 is quite laggy , imagine 3 on 3
