Remember this with routers. The abilities of hosting your own game, challenges others (not accepting them) are lost when you use a router.

You CAN accept quick game chaalenges, and join other hosts.

expenting?

well, i think i told you don't expect to be able to host or challenge (not counting accepting them).

So. To make this clear.

WITH ROUTERS, YOU CAN NOT (AND WILL NOT) BE ABLE TO HOST. IF PEOPLE CHALLENGE YOU, YOU CAN ACCEPT THEM, BUT THERE'S STILL A CHANCE THAT IT MIGHT NOT CONNECT. ROUTER'ED USERS WILL HAVE TO JOIN OTHER PEOPLE'S HOSTED GAMES.

what i meant by router is...a, let's say box, that will divide an internet connection so that mutliple computers can have internet access.

If you can host on a router, i'd like to know more about your system set-up (connection, router, and so on)

I doubt he can host..If he says he has a router then he wouldn't be able to host

Well. With some computers, with the right programs, and internet connections, you could be able to host.

He said he's on DSL. I duno much about DSL, so, that's y i want him to explain his connection more to me so i can learn.

Not everyone's computer/system settings are the same.
