The forum warning system - Restavegas case

[color=#810541]1st of all it all...blanka09 never was involved to begin with in this whole situation, VF came to me one night and told me Restavega was calling him names and he wanted him to stop but i was to tired to handle the situation right their and now and just let it as it....i TOLD him to tell Restavega to stop or ELSE warnings would be given and they were by WARMOR not blanka09.

just because Restavega and Blanka09 don't see eye to eye he decide to blame the warnings on blanka09 when in fact is was good'ole Warmor who gave Restavega the warning block. for false acusations we discussed the matter and Warmor was the 1st to decide that if he didn't listen we WOULD ban Restavega.

If Restavega was making false accusations because he believed the things he was saying were true, and obviously you knew otherwise, why didn't you set him straight by talking to him?

Restavega couldn't have known who those warnings came from and because he wasn't fully informed he made the same mistake.

Warmor gave him a warning block, ok. But this warning block didn't come with a full explanation. So Restavega, not knowingly, made the same mistake. So why not give him another warning block like Sbyrd and plenty of others have. Why just ban him 30 seconds after warning him? Not even giving him enough time to realize who is mad at him and why.

How does this warning system work exactly? And what happened in Restavegas case? Nferno, what

he was actually given 2 warnings..one by me sent by VF then we viewed the PM he sent us in the MOD PM section so Warmor Warned him with the block....after the warning block came the post in which Restavega decided to put the full blame on blanka09 even though he never did anything to begin with. after that we had the discussion from the PM and since he disobey my warning and Warmor's we put Warmor's punishment into affect.

VF never said that he spoke to you and that he was carrying an official warning (i wouldn't believe him even if he did, his not a mod).

He was banned 30 seconds after he got a block. And he tells me he never sent a mod pm, so he doesn't have any idea what you are saying about that.

He was never told that it wasn't blanka, as i said again you banned him 30 seconds after warmor gave him the block. He had absolutly no idea what that block was for. He though it was for saying Virch, thats why he got heated. You can't possible blame him, he didnt know anything at all!

My mistake then, Nferno. This forum acting up on me with the double posts and I tried to delete one of them I ended up deleting both.

But to comment on this situation, why put 1 block if the next action will be a banment? That doesn't make sense. What is the difference between one block and five blocks if you can be banned in a drop of a hat? The warning blocks should go if they are not going to be used effectively.

You are right, Wind. You can't leave warnings up to interpretation. They should've been specific as to what Restavega did wrong in particular to earn that warning block. Restavega said alot of things in the post he got warned for.

You don't need to step on poop to know it smells.

This was the same case, he didn't need to disobey 5 times in the same case to get banned.

Where as someone like sybrd has done 2 diffeernt things to gain him 2 different blocks, restevega kept pushing the same issue.

Well why should a person have a "5 strikes your out"? Why would a person do something to get a warning? To piss of the mods and admins? Please, I say if you do anything after one strike, you get the ground out. Baseball talk.

lol...the system might want 5 blocks but in times such as bumai only 1 is required.

umm i said VF sent the PM to us about the situation, Restavega never sent one at all. i Don't know how long the block was their since i jsut got homr from work that day and less then 30 secs i get an IM from VF linking me to the topic, i expect Restavega to at least listen to the messeage VF sent him about stopping the whole name calling but he didn't...Warmor sent him a warning and knowing warmor he probably told him the reasons on why he was warned and if he didn't then that's something i'll have to talk to him about...as for the misunderstanding of blanka09 and restavega and him not knowing the reason of his warning from warmor just have him email Support@streetfighteronline.com and we'll settle the unbanning, BUT i suggest Restavega and VF stay away from one another to avoid more chaos...if any one has a problem with a certain member of the forum just use the MOD PM section or email support@streetfighteronline.com and warnings will be given by me personally instead of having a mod do it via the warning block since that does not mention which mod warned you unless they leave comments and sign their names on it as they SHOULD...that should fix the whole blame game of who did what to who from now on.

Personally. I would like to see him unbanned, though i don't that's gonna happen. I don't think there is much to do to bring him back. The "authorities" (why not not mention 1 person, cuz it COULD involve all of them) don't seem like they will change their mind.

Although they MIGHT not have gotten/understood the whole situation that lead to start of the last "confrontation", whihc led to the warning box and ban.

They might be considering that as "admissable" evidence. Since it probably wasn't dealt with properly.

Sorry windarossa. Like i mentioned above, i would liek to see him unbanned. I just have a feeling that it won't happen. I still think this whole thing could've been dealt wiht in a different manner.

Anyway. I'm out. Check yal tomorrow.
