Good day to ye all... and merry... err.. I'll get back to you on that one :biggrin:

Recent events in the forum have caused a bit of friction in the forum between members, members, more members and the administration alike.

Most of you have been giving complaints as to the fact that the forum is dead and what not. However, you forget that the forum has it's purposes and right now, it's serving its purpose perfectly; all things being equal that is. it was built for the game SFO... and not the game for it.

To review tournament info, alert us about the bugs and glitches, help new members and make general comments about the game. Thus, everything that happens on the forum is inclined to the activities in, and on the game (Kinda reminds me of that loveable phrase... S.F.O! ...it's in the game! :biggrin: ).

If the forum proves to be too boring for you, the worst line of thought to follow is to start bickering at the administration. For one thing, it's no democracy.. and just like TMyApp said, it's in fact very... very close to an autocratic one. Except.. and I quote 2000warrior this time, we don't mean do what we say, or reason with our machine guns... but do what we sayy, or you're free to leave :biggrin:

It's as simple as that. And trust us, there's a reason things are that way. We're setting up a system that would tally with all calibre of kids/"adults" that come into the forum/community.

If you're still cross with everyone about the forum, then remember the words of Kennedy; Look for what you can do for your country and not what your country can do for you. However, we promise that for those who are very well interested in the game, the forum's activity would rise a notch for the place that actually matters, when Destination WeaponX comes. The SFO Related Section.

Please do not force us to go as far as removing the Non-Related to SFO Section to teach a valuable lesson. You don't know what you have or its worth until you don't have it anymore. No one forces you to pay a certain fee to stay here... and thus, you're under no obligation to demand whatever you want for the forum.

If on a glorious day, TMyApp decides to change the focus of his project from the game itself to the community, then maybe we'd have a whole new scenario. But of course, the probability of that happening is smaller than the probability of the atlantic ocean drying up
