Best program to make a banner..?

I just want to know what you ppl think whats the best avatar/banner making program..

i guess for someone new like u, u really dun know which is the best....so i will tell u. Evryone here uses PhotoShop 7,CS or w/e version they have. but their are also photostudio and paintshop pro but the best is photoshop

It's Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Imageready

u usually get both as a bundle..some ppl buy them seperately..

but there ya go man

U can buy one or download one from Kazaa or something

bah cs is like $670 when i checked. Not paying that much for that...should just buy another comp :P and kazaa@101viruses.com. Should i just try n use 7.0?
