1st time using brushes - I suck big time at brushes

This is my first time I ever used brushes. I seriously never tried it before because I never knew where to start. So I am basically a brushing ####ie.

Please comment on this banner I made for my friend Hellsing and tell me ways to improve from this. I still need to freakin make a banner for a gfx battle vs rabbitalien.

Thanks. I am still practicing with brushes. lol Don't know if I am getting any better or if I need work. but we will see in the gfx battle won't we? =)

Kinda thin but it works out well with bg and everything not bad for 1st time brush user

use the burn tool on the really bright spots.. nice work though for a 1st time brush user..
