1on1 Id say if youve pretty much mastered Ryu........

its roughly about 70 percent skilll...and 30 percent lag.

lag is now only a mere 15% while skills is something like 80% and the rest is up to luck versus error ratio !

Yeah i used to think it was like 80% skill 20 percent lag....but ive had so many fights...im stickin with 70-30 ratio.

Good question Tark. I believe most people come up with these numbers by there experiance. What I'm trying to explain is lets just say everyone in general, because I know for a fact no 2 users will ever have a fight where they can both agree that it was fair and that the match went their way and that they lost because of their own mistakes. Karma what you said make's a lot of sense but you have to test out what i have done to know how to play properly. Allow me to explain.

FIGHT 1-USER 1 vs USER 2
User one has a brand new top of the line system or close to it. Where his or her fps is 40.3333 everytime never lower.

User 2 has a dino age computer it's components about 800 mhz - 64mb - and 20 Gig hard drive. On average this users fps is between 15 and 20.

Now i've tested this and this is what user 1 see's most of the time. They see their opponent just standing there doing nothing but a noccasional jump or hadouken, so user 1 automatically will assume that user 2 has no skill how to play and will call user 2 a #### ifuser 2 says one thing about the match.

User 2 will usually see user 1 moving like a bullet and he will be doing everything in his power i norder to win the match. but in the end nothing works because his system just can't keep up with his or her opponents system.

Do not try to prove me wrong because I have tested this scenario about a 100 times now. Just the other day i tested it with bloodterrorX. I asked him if i was moving at all on his screen and he told me that I wasn't doing jack except for a noccasional punch.

Now i'll admit that you have to know how to play i norder to win a fight, but whats the use when your system can't even match your opponents system.

Here is the deal if you have a fast comp there is only 1 downfall you won't be able to block as often. My theory since the game is so fast for you the game will automatically think that you've already gotten hit by the special so your character becomes a zombie and takes the hit. Vipa can relate and so can I. Although having a slower computer gives you the advantage of blocking but destroys the main aspect of the game which is to deal damage.

My argument here is not to tell people that lag is the main problem in the game, maybe it was, my experiance with my new comp, I can't even feel the lag, rarely do I ever say "ohh man why can't i hurt him". What i'm trying to tell people is to stop calling the new users of the community ####s just because you whoop there ass like mad. Wen in reality your opponent has a computer from the cipher era.

So to end my argument I would just like people to stop abusing the new users and to give a new meaning to the word "N00B" because quite frankly I've heard enough of people calling each other N00BS when they don't know why there opponent lost.

A good example would be my roommate, he faced of against 1 of the users of the community on my old system and he was like dubya tee eff but when we asked the user how strong his system is the user simply replied by saying "to strong".

SKILL vs LAG

I don't have much to say here except lag has no meaning against skill it's your system, you got a slow system, you can be the best fighter in the whole world but, you can still be beat by a user who just started playing online but has a considerable amount of knownledge of the game.

Gotta go w/ 2k on this one. Every other character besides Spider-Man(including ERyu IMO) is obsolete if Spider-Man is being used w/ some decent w/ him.

Kinda sucks, but nothing you can really do about it but do your best.
