i mean, why? what do you gain? is there some kind of shortage o fBA players, so you're trying to draw us to it?

its eomthing i have never yet fully understood. i know thats the motives of some people, like (for the most part) jerry28. he's always trying to convince me to play with him, and then puts down sfo, and then we get into a 30 minute conversation about which is better.

Cause FBA is better.... Plus, i dont even play FBA, but its surely better.

I play Counter Strike... and i bet the community here isnt as good as CS.

I guess we talk smack because sfo is laggy and it sucks when you want to get to a higher level of gaming. You will never be the best or good at SFO because it takes no real skill to actually play it. Its just fun to play.

Though it sucks when you cant really progress at SFO... you will see the sudden skill level change when you play FBA. Its like your playing some one at an arcade, but with a keyboard.

I really find FBA really pathetic. Beleive it or not, it lags more than this game. That game is meant for cable users only. FBA is the reason why some veterans left this game. They started to enjoy FBA more than XvsSF and they left. We should all thank oOHoTSaucEOo, j-dog014, Stealth-Dragon, and Koopsta for telling everyone in the game about FBA. [.sarcasm on the *thanks* part.]

There is not just one big site where all ther users post....there is NO cs community really. its just a few people who have clans and msn and lots of random CS forums on the web.

nobody uses fba all u see is mame and kawaks, and the thing that sfo has over fba is sfo has a community, we don't have bob marley to answer questions for everyone on fba, we don't have pip to kick our ass all the time, everyone on there seems to always feel like a stranger.

also emulators, just stay the same, sfo however moves forward and always will, it's design can build our fantasy (errr.. tmyapps, but i guess we get the occasional charecotr vote) once all of the charectors imaginable (and addable) are added this game can still continue.


and there are many more cheap people o nemulators than there are on sfo, everyone has their cheap stratagy it seems

Yeah your right. The community here is unique. And the game's always getting updated as things are always changing, so i'll take SFO of any emulator anyday.

Well I didn't want too get into this but hey what the heck.

I must say tupac is right there is no way sfo can touch fba. I mean come on if you have dial up with windows 98 on a 1994 computer and you can still get every thing needed too run fba. You can pull o f a combo or evean a air combo mabe a throw are two. Therre is just no way sfo can beat fba, I mean come on guys lets get real here.

First: Fba has every person in the game and you can play alot more games on it so thats a HUGE thing. Where in sfo you don't have every char. and it's not as real as the real X men vs Street fighter rom. I mean come on this is basicly a game of it's own.

So if you want the real thing play it on fba and it is allmost like you own the game.

Second: The combos lets face it if your in a arcade and you don't just press buttons what are you going too do too beat someone? COMBOS all kinds of them air combos ground too air combos ect. ect.

In sfo your luycky if you get a 3 hit ground combo and if you do it won't be as good as a fba combo and there are no air combos in sfo at all.

So if you did lag in fba well you could still pull o f a good combo and it would be a hell of alot better then a sfo one.

Third: FBA has a hell of alot less lag then sfo I mean come on just go too ck-evoulution.com and look at some of icemans show case combos. They look like he is in a flipin arcade.

Another thing you can't just go into fba pressing buttons how you can sfo it takes alot of time too become good. If you are a button presser you will be beat to hell and back with combos from others.

So as you can see sfo is for fun.

Your talking about a small community....

CS has Leagues, where you can play other clans and progress..... Or just play for fun. The forums are usually for each individual Server or Clans, if you enjoy there servers. IRC is used alot for the game of CS, fans of certain servers and clans go to those IRcchannels to hang.

It has Hundreds of serves, and you meet new people every day. There is always comp, if you suck, it shows and if your good it Really shows. (or they will say your a hacker)

Its like any other Online game....... SFO is for people that want to get recognized fast. With no real skill of video gaming.

I hate that people that say "im the best in SFO, so im the best in all fighting games." I hate nubs, and lets face it.... this game a full of all these nubs.

So if they really think there the best, then try a game where it can actually show your the best. My son(5 year old) was good at this game..... So anyone can be good at this game.

A game should take some skill to play, on SFO, it shows no skill. Just shows you got a crappy PC and knows how to jam on buttons.

So i guess i try to convert because then they cant talk Smack. Cause its true, you cant really compare it.... there is no way. Its like 100 times better than SFO.

The real question is this........

WHY DO YOU PLAY SFO..... WHEN YOU KNOW FBA IS BETTER?

I showed SFO to my friend, he played it, and right away his respond was "Too laggy, it sucks." I showed him FBA, and bomb, he loves it. "Its like the arcade"
