Can't even get to the menu - What's wrong?

After loading the game, I click "Ok" and I get a black window with no sound. If I wait a while, I get a sun-like picture that shows up about every 10 miliseconds in the window. What's happening?

Mcbeth, why are you trying to make a name for your-self, after all you've been through? If you wanna be equal to everyone else, try to fuckin' help them ass... cuz you know, noone really like the things you do and noone's gonna follow your path... cuz then the'll be known as cheaps!
