I made a variation of the Abstract Tut design saijin posted.. It's pretty simple, and it looks at least decent. =/
ca href="http://www.boomspeed.com/akuma 4ever/insane.gif" target=" blank">http://www.boomspeed.com/akuma 4ever/insane.gifc/a> It can be made by the instructions of the abstract tut, with only minor changes. So if you like this design, I'll post a mini tutorial here. Step 1 Open a new image, I used 400 width, 120 height. Step 2 Decorate it alittle with the GRADIENT tool. Make sure your settings are Mode: Difference. Step 3 Go to filter, stylize, find edges. After that press Ctrl+L, Press Auto, Then ok. Step 4 You can do this if you want Filter, Blur, Gaussian Blur. You can set it from 0.1-1.0 Step 5 Duplicate the layer with Ctrl+J and go to filter, distort, wave, and in the top right hand corner, click square. Step 6 You can set the blending mode to Lighten, Overlay, Softlight, Hardlight, or vivid light. For this one, I used vivid light. And press Ctrl+E to merge it. Then Ctrl+L, press auto, then ok. Step 7 Now comes the coloring, I used Hue/Saturation by pressing Ctrl+J, then click on colorizing. And vualla! It's simple enough to create. You guys can post your opinions on this design, what to do to improve it, etc. Add an underscore between akuma and forever in the link. Edited By akuma_forever on June 18 2004 at 10:08 |

When you click on filter > distort > wave, a window should pop up. Now look to the top right, there should be three options that say sine, triangle, or square. Click on square.
