TMyApp: What is the differance between Normal and Turbo Mode,,,besides that fact that Turbo appears to run faster....too many people are sniveling about Normal Mode and try and make it sound as though Normal Mode was the reason they lose their matchs....and i realy want to know if there is any differance in game play between the 2 modes besides the FPS...and what are some of the Pro's and Con's between the two?

turbo runs about 1/3 faster... which means, packets are sent faster... thus, u COULD experience more lag...

but, people continue to say that they see LESS lag while using turbo (which simply doesn't make sence)

thats it... it's just the speed... noffin else....

yeah i remember when playing some guy he selected turbo mode (cuz he thought the increased speed whould make wolvie better against ryu) well anyways halfway through the fight wolvie is teleporting like its noones business ,but i still beat him because during all that lag he hardly even atacked.

Yes I was right that Turbo Mode is supposed to lag more then Normal Mode.

turb is suppose to be the actual speed, normal is like in slow motion...(this IS xmen vs sf, not sf 2)

Street fighter 2 isnt slow... if you still had the game you would know(that rhymes, heh...)

The reason why people say normal is laggier than turbo is because when you play a game on normal, it's like a snail on fly paper, but turbo... thats pretty fast(though not to me) but causes more lag, so people think of speed in terms of lag(my guess)

i think thats it exatly Tark. People see the game run slower in normal mode and think thats lag...while in Turbo mode they are experiencing the exact same amount of lag (maybe more) but it's happening 1/3 faster than Normal thus it appears as though there is less lag...but like TMy said there isnt a differance in the 2 modes besides the games operating speed....so it isnt Normal mode thats causing people to lose there matchs..in other words its peoples lack of experience in playing Normal Mode that makes them lose...wich tells me they just need some mo' practice.
